Must be REALLY disappointing for them to give up this chance. Or perhaps they realized there is something more important than holding one particular trophy that was much more prestigious in BW than in SC2.

Kespa is probably trying to deny them and keep the money within their own teams instead. GOM players have almost nothing to lose through this move. I bet Kespa players themselves are secretly rooting for ESF instead. Schedule clashes, overworked are just excuses. If they have more freedom to choose what they want to participate, they can choose what they want to join and not join. Different players have different schedule preferences and amount of stamina. Open competition between tournaments is good for the overall development of e-sports. Weird how nobody comments on MLG getting fucked indirectly too :D kespa players have never liked kespa...... everyone except for some are supporting ESF atm

But maybe ESF can hold up against KeSPA, hopefully. Maybe with the help of black magic. And souls of unborn children as sacrafices to the dark voodo gods.

Completely forgot about the Esports Fed. That's awesome, I'm so happy for GOM that they dont have to put up with this bs silently.

I mean, surely it would be strictly in their interest if the ESF teams all abandoned the GSL and instead participated only in the OSL, which would then become the centrepiece for SC2. So why have they instead decided to leave OSL and stick with GSL? Surely it has to be more than loyalty and friendship. But if it really is out of pure loyalty, then I would think that the ESF teams are to be commended, even if it turns out that, in the long run, this is a bad move for the SC2 scene in general.
