Barkley has tons of weapons behind him, which will deter voters. I think the Heisman winner will be Logan Thomas from VT or Marcus Lattimore from SC (that guy was a beast before he tore his knee). While Barkley does have a plethora of weapons, this has always been the case for a school like USC. Whenever they've had a Heisman favorite, it's not because they have a lack of talent and one guy who could carry the team. Barkley has the weapons, and he's shown he can set conference records with them. In addition, while those receivers and running backs are talented, they will not under any circumstances split or steal votes from him. He could easily lose the Heisman this year, but it won't be because of voters thinking he has too many guys to throw to.

First game is @BYU and I think that will be a good indicator for how the season is gonna go.

That Alabama D is set up perfectly to destroy Michigan's Offense. However if UM's D can step up they could keep it respectable or even win if they make some plays. I just don't think Denard will do well vs that D.

Florida will probably lose to LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida State (though to be honest, I have no idea how good FSU is this year), so yeah 8 wins max I say.

I can see why you think he wouldn't win and even if he doesn't I do see him as a finalist regardless. Also Lattimore from SC is a beast and could easily steal the show in the SEC, he looks like a Bama running back but better.

Watching the MSU-Boise game tonight. MSU looks like a Dantonio coached team, undisciplined.

The loss of Cousins and basically all the WR is really showing this game. Our D is Rose Bowl Quality but our offense is Little Ceasers bowl Quality atm.

Maxwell looking a little better this half, and Bell is looking great. Anyhow Dantonio is still the best coach they have had since Saban.
