Peopel say its not mech becauase historically mech has always been an army where if you have the correct positioning and patience you are rewarded with one of or the strongest army in the game.
The warhound however negates the "patience and positioning" part of the description becuase its mobile and is used like you would use bio..
The warhound was a bio unit not a mech unit.

CARRIER HAS ARRIVED
GG WARHOUND

I don't have the beta but these seem like great changes based off what I have read and seen from the game. Nice job Blizzard, methinks it's a giant step in the right direction.

Warhound is still a unit in the campaign / custom maps / editor, also, if they bring it back after remaking it, the bug is already fixed.

I'm excited the Carrier is staying would have been upset if they would have taken the unit out of the game. It's the unit that made me choose to play protoss.

Why should terran be happy about losing a whole unit?

Definitely seems like a step in the right direction.

I think Grubby suggested something like Phase Shield (aka Dispel)
the changes are really good

Terrans happy for once, lose warhound.
Terrans will qq, will lose marine.
lolsc2.
Honestly though, I'd say even most terrans weren't happy with the warhound they had. I think it'll be a case of 1 step back to take 2 steps forward for terran. Scrap the warhound for now and work on something totally different, something better.

um, no. It's a mech unit. Its made from the Factory.
By your logic Goliath is a bio unit. And hellion and every other factory unit besides Siege tank, thor, and mines.

They said if they think of a better design it'll go in the game. Regardless, if it's redesigned then, er, it's a different unit? So who cares.

Yeah... people talking about Haywire vs. Immortal and gg Warhound. They'll obviously be bringing it back after substantial changes in the future. Common sense people, come on.
