u mad, Korea? At what? The fact there are more koreans to compete against than the rest of the world has to offer so the prize pool is more spread out? Come on now. Bigger money tournaments for non-korean events make that happen. Nothingtoseehere

I don't understand either of these statements. Demuslim is a better player than both. Grubby is amazing, he, like Demuslim, can beat any Korean on his day. Nerchio losing to Grubby isn't a surprise. They're pretty evenly matched.

You cant win just with a 1 man army(even if it is Stephano) he needs others that can be a threat to the Korean team so they don't just snipe him with a ZvZ specialist. But it could be awesome if Stephano did a reverse allkill:D

They're pretty evenly matched. the point was to say that the zerg like ziktomini and Jrecco got some hype, but didnt make something happens, and even if Demuslim got beaten in UK championship he is clearly better overall. (yeah ! we agree !) I really like grubby, but I was not expecting Nerchio to loose to grubby. grubby is good, but i was placing nerchio some step above, but lately Grubby is on fire, he make such progress, just amazing. do you understand now ? if not just pass as it's a Stephano FC. speaking about the emporor europa, he just ask on twitter for a ios game... any idea ?

Season 4 going on right now ends Oct 20 and season 5 ends at the end of November to line up with IPL 5 weekend in Las Vegas. So I assume GSL 5 starts at the end of Oct. However he has to attend ESWC Oct 31 to Nov 4th. Then there's MLG Fall Championship sometime in November. And then WCS world champs!! China in Nov 17. I also assume he'll qualify for the big Dreamhack which is the weekend right before IPL - Nov 22.-25th. Then IPL Nov 29th. So freaking busy! GSL on top of that would be brutal. You make some good points. There is also NASL 4 that will be big if Stephano makes it into the Finals again, which is fairly likely. There is a lot of major tournaments still to come for Stephano in 2012. That's a good thing though, both for him personally and for us fans. I am sure he will go to GSL next year.

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/100aqe/stephano_vs_korea/c69kuaf I mistakenly replied to this post where some eager fanboy said Stephano top 5 no doubt, then some douche has his facts all wrong which I can't stand, so I correct him and get downvoted to oblivion despite my completely unbiased analysis even being one of Stephano's biggest fans. Well I might as well put one of my posts here since no one will ever read it on Reddit: [EDIT: All upvotes are appreciated :p] "Everyone says this is the best and toughest GSL thus far, there's no argument right? so... http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_Global_StarCraft_II_League_Season_4/Code_S Stephano's record vs Ro16 of the best GSL thus far: Group A - 1-0 vs DRG, 15-16 vs Polt (10-6 recently), 1-0 vs Taeja online, nothing for Rain Group B - 3-1 vs Squirtle, 6-3 vs Heart, 6-2 vs Hero, nothing for Leenock Group C - 0-1 vs MVP, 4-1 vs JYP, 2-1 vs Curious, 4-6 vs MKP Group D - 0-2 vs Symbol, 1-2 vs Life I wish more ppl would see this but Haters are idiots anyway. Like I said, if it wasn't for ZvZ Stephano would be EXTREMELY dangerous in GSL.. And based on what I listed, only haters think he can't compete." I guess that's part of the reason why Stephano is so successful, he doesn't do it for the glory, and he doesn't have a big ego considering how great he is, just very self assured. His form especially with 100k on the line in China in November will probably be the best it will ever be.. who knows what will happen next year especially with HotS.

I guess that's part of the reason why Stephano is so successful, he doesn't do it for the glory, and he doesn't have a big ego considering how great he is, just very self assured. I also have looked at the recent Code S lineups. Some players Stephano has not faced before so no data is available. However he has faced quite a few in LANs recently and he has done pretty well. As your data above suggests, he can certainly compete with such players. The data is even more compelling if you look at the entire 32 where you have players like Ryung, Parting, Bomber, Mana and MC who have all lost at LANs recently to Stephano. And Genius and Supernova who have lost online with money at stake. He has losses too of course but who doesn't? I've looked at the numbers myself and found Stephano has a 66% win rate against Code S Terrans over the past couple of months. It seems to me that his TvZ is pretty damned solid these days. It has improved a lot since he got beaten by MMA. Results are results. The lesson though is probably not to post in Reddit! Haha

And since I edited into my last post - "His form especially with 100k on the line in China in November will probably be the best it will ever be.. who knows what will happen next year especially with HotS" (not to mention the EG curse). This is probably the best time for him to go far in GSL. Oh well, even if he crushes KESPA face at MLGs there will always be something.. You can never win against stupidity. My point against these haters/doubters is that I agree that foreigners completely suck in comparison to Koreans, but Stephano is the exception, and a major one at that. But these people are either completely uninformed or unable to objectively analyze gameplay.
