I assumed it had to have support at the hardware level. I'm definitely going to check this out. Edit: On the other hand, if the Blackwidow has this feature built-in, combined with Razer's multiple profiles (I can revert to normal functionality when not playing SC2), I'd still probably prefer the keyboard over just using sharpkeys. If anyone can confirm the Blackwidow supports this functionality I'd appreciate it.

You can map any key, macro or program to any key. You can't, however, bind modifier keys (shift, ctrl and alt) to other keys by default. I suppose you could make a macro and still have this functionality, I'll try it in a bit!

Uh if I'm interpreting this correctly you made the user interface for the Razer BW driver program...? Anyways yes you can rebind most keys with that driver provided you downloaded it off their website.

Ya, let me know if that ends up working. My end-goal is to be able to map shift to spacebar, right-ctrl to right-alt and escape to f4. I came up with a hotkey layout where I rest my fingers on fghj. It would be killer, but for it to work I need to be able to make those shift/ctrl mappings. P.s. I hope this discussion is appropriate for this post. I thought it would be preferable to discuss it here rather than create a new thread.

I'm glad I made the purchase after having past on them a couple months ago. That was mainly due to the reviews talking about how the mino-usb connector would get loose and no longer make a connection after a couple weeks.

Anyway, I was able to bind shift to space. I made a macro which presses shift and releases it after 10ms, and have that macro be repeated while spacebar is down.
