Yes i checked that option tab, but couldn't find anything what could help me. Did anyone here got a similar experience? If so, please give me step by step orders, cause I'm really unexperienced with the editor
EDIT:
Ok, found it now - thanks for the help!

Would it be acceptable to use the height tool to add a puddle of water to a map? In the Playable area.

If I were to do that, should I make it nobuild?

Great. Do you know how the bank limits work though? If it is 1mb per bank and you can have 36mb total does that mean you can only have 36 banks open at once? Or can you have 72 banks with 500kb open? What if I open 36 banks with 1mb of data, close them and then open 36 other banks with 1mb data. Thus achieving 72mb of storage space?
I have yet to find any real information on what the limits are. There is some information out there on the limits of banks written by people with very poor English (obviously speakers of other languages) which I have given up as incomprehensible or just too vague/ambiguous. Most of the info out there is also very wrong or outdated.

You don't use the custom maps forum.
In other news, close the menu and then you can do it. Click "Return to Game" and you'll go to a paused screen. Then you can chat and when you want to unpause, just reopen the menu.

Sorry it should be 36 banks not mb. No it is 1mb per player maximum, Ie a player cannot load more than 1mb of data into the game. Players can have mulitple banks files tho but up to a maximum of 36 bank files spread how you see fit amongst all the players. There are other way to store information like in decepencies which allow yoo to do for your storage limit i believe that is more to do with actually game data like having music or custom art assets in your game. The information is definitly out there but i would suggest you go to the mapster chat were you can actually talk to the blizzard designers themselves on undocumented game information.

@hobbidude - Thanks, that was pretty straight forward.
Devs occasionally show up on the mapster chat? I'm so there! :D

If you double click rocks, and go to the second tab, there is a "control" option. They change the color of the rocks.
Is there an easier way to do this?

Select all the rocks you want to change, click enter to open the menu, change for all rocks. I think that's what you want to do.

Yep, you can select all special, this will select all doodads of that type. This way you can color all the rocks a certain way. This is one of the reasons cloud kingdom has such a distinctive color scheme.

how do i talk when i pause the game? pressing enter does not let me enter into chat and how do i move a warp prism and drop simultaneously?
|
@southstarfist - this is the wrong place to be asking those questions. (also have the WP on move, then click on "drop" and click on the warp prism itself. It will continue to move and drop as it goes)

How can I designate certain cameras to certain players? So I can make an observer be able to zoom out while the players are still only able to use the normal camera?
|
This is question that has been answered for sure a lot of times before, but where can I find good guides to make my own units, weapons and other stuff?
