I am happy today to let everyone know that ESV TV, one of the leaders in online broadcasting for Starcraft II will be expanding! League of Legends has been added to ESV TV as an official title and have a great first event to be bringing you!
The Gigabyte StarsWar League pits some of the top Asian teams against each other for a prize pool of over $11,000! Featuring teams like WE, NaJin Shield, Invictus Gaming, and more this is a league you will not want to miss! This event will be casted by FourCourtJester and RAPiD! Other guest casters will be joining from time to time as well!
We will be starting coverage with the second group as the first one has already completed with Invictus Gaming and NaJin Shield advancing from the group stage to the LAN Finals!
Who will come out of Group B to advance? Only one way to find out, just watch and enjoy the games!

Looks good!
I'll be interested to see how the LoL replay infrastructure holds up. IIRC, it's pretty buggy. At the same time, if it is up to the task, that'd be great. One of the least appealing things about watching LoL (particularly when matches are done online) is the incredible amount of down time that is typical between matches and between the games themselves. Some times it'll take half an hour just to get everyone in the right lobby. And then someone's got the wrong rune pages, etc. etc.....
ETA: I'm also excited to see some new caster blood. It feels like nearly everything is done by Riot's favorite yellers these days.

Yes we have already had some issues where the replays randomly broke for a short time for no reason. However atm everything is stable and short of crashes we should be able to have a more streamlined broadcast I think.
Always open to feedback of course, I like to know what you guys want!
For example here is our overlay (we have already fixed a few things since this pic such as support and ADC being reversed): http://imgur.com/KdqDX

You can re-arrange order of the champions in the bottom overlay now I think.
Are the side icons customisable? Might be necessary for double-AP strategies, for example.
Also not sure how to squeeze this in, but a Dragon/Baron timer might be nice.

Yeah we will re-arrange in the game itself to match up, but in that overlay we have support as 4th instead of 5th, minor thing but it will be fixed ^^.
I don't know how we can do a dragon/baron timer at this point without interfering with the stream (since this is all produced off one PC).

Great stuff!!!!
Asian teams are so good and the games are extremely fun to watch. OGN has had the best games so far, hopefully ESV matches that.

We are a small company so there is some things they do we cannot, but we will always try our best!

Very excited to see this was a HUGE fan of the sc2 coverage and the new maps that they tried to get into the greater scene. the overlay looks great and I wish you great luck with that replay program, hopefully earlier then later Riot releases a first party version of it.

I am beyond crossing my fingers it's a big end of S2 reveal like they did with Spectator in S1.

I would prefer if you could write a starting time in the KR evening because its a 24h rebroadcast I dont know when it started. Something like this that the next rebroadcast will start at 19:00 KST. If its possible.
Do you have a korean translation for this announcement? because on inven there is no news :< ah in the calender there are the games.

The rebroadcast system will be imperfect as VERY rarely does a cast go a perfect even amount of time (ex: 3 hours 0 mins, 4 hours 0 mins, etc). As NA is out target demographic our start times will reflect that. I will try and do my best to make it clear as possible.
Also we have no announcement on the Korean forums as it's in English so I doubted there would be much use for them. Is there a demand for English casting for Koreans?

They would be interested in watching their korean teams especially against chinese teams. Just tell them that they can learn listening comprehension ^^ On inven they have a wrong schedule 19:00StarsWar League LGD Gaming vs AHQ 21:00StarsWar League AHQ vs TM.Origin I guess this is the same StarsWar league

I just checked, there is a Korean stream in Korean for this. They are likely live casting vs replays which we are doing so schedules will be different.

are these the games that were already played on the 7-11th?

Some will be, yes. After the first week and we get all the bugs worked out we will have a MUCH quicker turnaround. However there is still no english cast of these games so it will be the first time to anyone that does not speak Korean or Chinese.
Edit: All games are set to run on the Syndra patch if anyone cares. It's what the Korean/Taiwan tournament realm is set to.
