He was the least talented caster in the scene after maybe HD and Husky, and was pretty much derelict when he landed a miracle job with Gom. I have to believe that pity got him that job, and convenience/low cost got him the job with OGN. I think it would be safe to assume that he was the lowest paid caster in Korean SC2. He had the exact same reaction from the fans as Kelly Milkies did, but somehow managed to dig his claws into the scene anyway. People have been hating his casting since the day he began at Gom, but he stuck around like a parasite, ruining game after game with his overzealous shoutcasting. I think that this was a desperation move in his life much more so than anything he really earned or deserved. He was the sidekick to the best English caster that BW had to offer, which really isn't saying much for those days. This should have happened ages ago when hundreds of complaints rose about his casting style. He rode that title WAY further than it should have ever been ridden. Sorry Moletrap, your passion was there but that doesn't translate to casting ability. GL finding an outlet, or possibly a marketable skill, within the world of e-sports. How about, cast videos, bring interviews with professional players, give news on non-streamed/casted games, and move to Korea where he does not know many people to try and bring more content for fans of the game? What the fuck have YOU done for Starcraft?

Best Sc2 Moletrap moment. Good luck with everything Moletrap, hopefully you'll move to a game with a less terrible community where your casting will be appreciated.

It must be tough to let Korea go now but I hope you do well with whatever you choose to do now, Moletrap.

I was thinking this was what would happen after one of the ogn admins said on the stream chat that they're changing the english casters. Really glad this happened, as I couldn't even enjoy the osl finals with molecrap casting. Same. Moletrap basically ruined the OSL finals for me with his screaming and squeaking and crying onstream. It was very much ridiculous; I love the OSL and it needs serious English casters for people to take it as seriously as it really ought to be taken. It was sad to see the OSL be this great, awesome tournament with amazing games trying to compete with GSL but just failing miserably because GSL has Tasteless and Artosis and OSL had the biggest joke caster duo of all-time in moletrap and doh-uh. Remember in those youtube days, moletrap is the only one constantly casting for many years, always presented great passion, friend with almost all those youtube casters. Some of the other casters are much better than Moletrap, but they stopped casting after 1 or 2 years. He's the leader of youtube casting at that time.

It's not sad, he did not say he had a terrible disease, he's just moving for Pete's sake, who doesn't? Ban me all you want but this is just weird. What's iron squid?
