This post made me laugh really hard for some reason. I have been thinking the same thing, it's really quite funny how contrasted the rumored contract offers are in nature. I wonder how similar they are from a monetary perspective though, I would assume Axiom has to be somewhat competitive or he wouldn't even be considering them at this point.

That video was awesome; Ryung losing to that little kid in the end was hilarious. Time for tea indeed.

Anyway since we're talking about Ryung:
Not being at the SlayerS house shouldn't affect him that much - he actually had his best run (IMO) when he left the house and started playing from home. At the very least, I don't think being on Axiom and playing from home is any reason for him to get worse. Being able to put drama aside and get a fresh start can be a good motivator as well, so we'll see what happens.
The problems with Ryung are the ones that would exist regardless of team. He's inconsistent, and his TvP is very lackluster. Those are things he was always going to have to figure out if he wanted to get past being a Ro16 player in Code S.

On the other hand he's going to be playing a fuckton of tvp with Crank. I haven't followed the scene much recently do I don't know how good Cranks pvt is though.

Sigh. If I was MMA I'd wanna start new. No old teammates >.>

While that guy's quote is really stupid... I'd add that what happened with KawaiiRice was a bit different. The website said WR 3 would start at 9:30pm, as did the board in front, so we went to go do an interview. We ended it at 9:30, got back to the floor at 9:34 only to find out that his match had been called by the admin 15 minutes early.
Obviously Crank's situation would have been equally solvable by better communication from MLG.
When their head admin doesn't even know when games are supposed to be, it's a problem. When I get told "don't pay attention to the website because they might change times," it's a problem... and when they don't even follow a posted schedule (I.E. calling a match scheduled for 9 30 at 9 15) it's a problem.

Nice pickup by Axion! I wonder if this means they are making a big dip into the sc2 team market now since they just aquired a top level terran.

Regarding ESC, here's the story:
On November 07 2012 15:27 EKnaus wrote: An update on the Daisy DQ with his match vs HwangSin...
According to Daisy, he said that he asked a judge about what time his match would be the next day and the judge didn't know so he went online to check and the website said "Loser Round 5 - 11.00am", so he arrived the next day at 10.20am thinking he was early, but a referee told him that he defaulted because he was late by about 10min. He was more confused how Ret was able to play vs HwangSin when he was late by 1 hour, starting the match 1-0 in HwangSin's favor.
That's all the information I'm able to give right now, however.

You know, in the past I also used to think you had a really thin skin when it came to criticism.
Now I'm more inclined to believe that you really just don't suffer fools gladly.

That video was just so bad, but congratulations to Axiom and Ryung!

I'm sorry if I'm being slow, but what are you referring to? What did Axiom (fail to) do that every other team didn't?
