BUT, hosting live events is not their forte. They are great a making video game media web content. In his big interview David Ting admitted right away it was a lot of "new code" and to expect problems.
At least, its free.
Hopefully, the new "secret" console titles are paying IGN a lot of cash to put on this event.
GOM will produce the event, it'll probably blow every other tournament out of the water.

You only had to get top 2 in the world bracket to attend IPL5. Winner gets to be on the team. There was originally a miscommunication where they thought it was a 7 player team so 2 world bracket players would advance. It ended up not being true so IPL is still giving the runner up a spot at IPL5

Ah, i see. So the finals spot is still up in the air between Scarlett and SEn i assume (don't see major beating Scarlett).

<3 ...now toss and terran can complain
(I would give u more love sasquatch but u keep challenging me )
This is THE tournament of the year, for me. Even terrans (MVP, Taeja, MKP, Polt, MMA, Ryung, etc..) and toss (Crank, Creator, Hero, Genius, Seed, MC, etc..) will be represented well. This is going to be amazing!
PS. if you could get dima and nestea as more replacements, that would be great ..And as always, Prplppleatr wwould be happy to fill a spot

Hell yeah! Leenock at IPL 5 now regardless if he wins his code s games. Also, seeing as MKP hasn't been replaced yet, I'm hoping he confirmed that he's going regardless if he beats ryung tonight or not. Wonder why Sea didn't want to go since it would be his first foreign tournament in SC 2.

Ya, if these guys qualify a 2nd time will GSL points, their team, or the next best person from qualifier be invited??? Or is that still TBD?

I kinda curious who will replace him, I think Ret, HerO and TaeJa are already there and Sheth is casting which basically leaves TLO or Zenio as the Liquid invite. I am hoping a bit for Zenio he has been working hard and TLO already got Dreamhack Winter to attend.
