I am extremely excited to announce the 2nd season of 'Gamers Den' taking place on Access Cable in Saskatchewan, Canada. Last season was a big success and Access Television wants the 2nd season to be bigger and better!
Details If you never got to see the pictures of our last event you can see it here : Gamers Den Season 1
Gamers Den is a one day 8 man tournament that takes place in the Access TV Studio in Regina, Saskatchewan on Sunday, January 13th, 2013! We are hoping to have 8 top players from all over Western Canada participate for prizes yet to be announced. Last season some of the prizes were gaming PC peripherals, free internet/cable, a 52'' Samsung TV and more. I am told the prizes this season will be a lot better and more desirable!
Gamers Den is shown on TV in 11 30 minute episodes all over Saskatchewan and Fridays/Saturdays and On-Demand for subscribers.
All participants will have their meals on the day provided for, as well as their hotel for the night prior to the event paid for by Access TV!
How Can I Get In?!
We have 5 spots open for grabs for the tournament! The other 3 are already taken by the top 3 finishers of the last event. The other 5 spots will be given away to the Top 5 placing players that can stay the extra day from King of the Prairies 2013 which is taking place in the same city the day prior to the event and will have over $1000 in cash and other prizes.
We were really excited for King of the Prairies and now we are even more excited for a 2nd tournament to take place the day after. It is awesome to have television and mainstream media excited for SC2, and although it's just in Saskatchewan we believe that this is just a small step into helping grow SC2 in mainstream media!
Please check out our KING OF THE PRAIRIES THREAD for more info!
Any questions you can PM me on TL or add me on skype : JtotheLew . I can help with everything from answering specific questions about either tournament to helping find rides from Alberta/Manitoba.

At the time of that post the season was just starting so we weren't supposed to post spoilers.. I think it just finished with
Tod ''TriAvOiD'' Jobin Taking 1st. Richard 'Grape' Heinemann from team My Intent (MYi) taking 2nd and Jeremy 'Enger' Eng taking 3rd
Those are the 3 that are going to be placed into the next event with the 5 qualifiers from KotP. All players in the first event were from Saskatchewan but this time we hope to get players from around Western Canada as many top players from Alberta and Manitoba are going to be at King of the Prairies. Of our 8 players at the last event 2 were GM and the rest mid-high masters, entrants were based on a qualifier tournament we had online.

Sweet. Is there any way for non-Saskatchewan residents to watch this?

Saskatchewan sounds like a city taken from the world of starwars. Oh enough with silly comments. This is great for esport in general.
|
The first event went was a blast, with high production value, hotels and catering for players- I'm guessing you guys can expect more of the same!
GLHF JLew, I'm sure it will be a blast
