You made my brain bleed with your logic (or lack thereof), congratulations.

You've clearly never seen a WCG before. There's a massive amount of games going on at all times. They want to stream as much as possible, so if a main caster for a game (tobiwan) is casting something else (dota 1) they have to find other casters to fill in for them (doa) They've been doing it for years and years. Tastosis casted a WCG together before and they knew nothing about most of the games as well. OGN could run any fucking game they wanted and be able to hire people who know what they are talking about. On top of that, OGN didn't hire these guys. WCG hired them.

Considering it is not a finals game, for example, and its all in good nature, why not? It was fun right? Or are people actually angry that they didnt have 100% dota people for the cast?
I would '*LOVE* to see tastosis cast dota/fifa/WoW arena just for the fun of it, they wouldnt know whats going on, but it would be fun to watch either way.

Oh god, the poor guys didn't even get an english client. They really got thrown in on the deep end. DoA was hilarious.

This is awesome, we've seen enough of casters who know about the game, we need more of this stuff!

Wow it's not like he got a bad first game to cast! Sick game good job doa! Sad that I missed it D:

I don't really know whether you're complaining about these guys casting DOTA or about these guys casting some other OGN-run tournament, so I'm going to provide reasoning for why you're wrong on both counts.
These casters had to be hired due to lack of funds (or willingness to spend funds) on WCG's part. The tournament either can't or won't pay for good casters for all the games going on there, so casters have to fill in for each other and play games they know nothing about.
This was actually really, really freaking good considering it was their first time. If anything, it means that they should be hired MORE for other tournaments. I mean, try casting a game you know absolutely jack about. I dare you. Only the most talented casters can make the best of a worst-case situation like this.

I watched most of it live, and thought it was hilarious, knowing not a whole lot about Dota myself. It was pretty much exactly how I felt the first time I saw a game of Dota being played, the only advantage I had however, was that I could read what was on the screen.
