My friends and I just had a lan this weekend with 6 of us and it took about an hour to get all of the computers to 1080. Not worth the money. It's cool they have a matchmaking but I don't think that's enough either. | ||

Honestly, that's a lot. as someone who never owned AoE2 legally(I was a kid and parents said "if you can pirate, you dont have to buy it"), I'm gladly paying 40 bucks for this game. Also steam workshop alone should be huge. It will allow you to upgrade textures/animations provided the community does the job(I know this sounds silly). They also reworked a good chunk of the engine to allow easier customizations from what I can tell. Also, compared to other 40$+ games nowdays, AoE2 is simply better. | ||
