and i dont know why people are arguing about the price, its on the steam topsellers for weeks now. So there must be quite some people who are ok with the price.
I don't really give a damn about the price I have 3 physical copies of the game what's one more. What annoys me is that this will split the community unless we get FE support for matchmaking.
Edit: This is also one of the reasons I quit the beta. Constant crashes neeeever fixed. pro.

The instant i turned on that stream the game crashed.
Not the best advertising.

hmm this early build doesn't look all that functional

Early build? Isn't it out in a week?
|
Don't know which build of the game this is but its looking pretty bleak.

This is a bit of a disappointment to say the least.

Where is the stream ? :O
Is it really crashing lol ?
Edit Nvm found it.

Still having sync issues, oh well.
|
Still has 2001 syncing issues, but this time in glorious HD.

I was hyped for that game with Viper, what a let down.

I loved AoE II, but the macro is really challenging compared to Starcraft. Remember boar luring?
|
Resource management, macro, honestly everything is more challenging then SC. But AOE has a lot of factions so balance will always remain an issue.

For a second I misread this and thought you said sc was more challenging was about to write a post bout how you were wrong haha.
Can't wait for this game so pumped :D
Also wish there was a vod so I could watch TT.

Wait, so they ported all the crash/sync bugs over as well? Suddenly less confident in my purchase...

As a sc2 kiddie idk how I feel about multiple building selection and automine because it seems like you are playing against the game instead of the player in those cases. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see this one day as it is getting more and more popular (see the halo series). Nostalgia is a powerful thing. I'm sure an hd broodwar would be massively popular in korea as long as they play their cards right and don't change too much.

Did they improve the quality of the sprites or did they just zoom out more?

It's just increased resolution, same thing offered by the FE expansion except that FE has more bug fixes.
|
Tried to find my original AOE2 disc set, but no avail but just 2 more days till early access I think. Hope they addressed that sync issue by then.
|
Yeah I'm not going to buy it early I don't think. I've kinda lost confidence in blindly purchasing any game the last few years, and the abysmal failure last week with that show match definitely wasn't very reassuring. I hope it turns out ok
