That's roughly what most of my 2v2 opponents do anyway....

Hey guys, I'm looking for a certain daily and hoping someone could help me out. It's probably 1½ years old or maybe even more, and the theme was extremely close games. It resulted in situations like spine crawler vs spine crawler, 0 minerals and 0 units vs 0 minerals 1 zergling and things like that.
Would love to watch that one again as it resulted in some hilarious games!
ETA: If there has been more Dailies on that theme later on that's very welcome too of course!

Daily #463 was the closest 2v2 games of all time, not sure if that quite counts.
Dailies 479 and 482 also did closest game ever theme for Funday Monday.

Hey guys, watched some Day9 today and i heard some songs i really liked. Can't find them though.
I think he mentioned ''Broken things'' or something.
And in one of the songs I heard a voice saying something like.... ''Every time you get from one place to another it's like someone opens another door for you'' And you dive in
If anyone knows what songs it was that would be awesome! :D

Anyone actually having any success with Feast's PvZ build? it never works for me. Day9 can you do a solid PvZ build, you haven't done much PvZ lately.

It only works on specific maps, and since it was only once, you're gonna have to adjust to what your opponent is doing.

Just wanted to say I thought Day[9]'s brief comments on today's news about Idra leaving EG was really thoughtful and a good message.

This subject has already analyzed over and over and over again. Don't bring it up on this thread too...

I agree, no need for further discussion here, but that part of Daily #587 is worth watching.

@Lysenko, I agree. What sets Day[9] apart is that he knows how to critique and teach through relation rather than hard criticism. It's an invaluable empathy that helps foster positivity.

Naniwa's 4gate expo is so so much fun. So many zergs are confused by the 1base opening.

really want day9 to do a PvP daily where he introduces a solid, macro based roboless style that is capable of deflecting different weird timings you see on the ladder, my PvT and PvZ have >70% win rate but my PvP has <20%

Has day9 ever commented on whether he plans to ever return to competitive play?

I wish he would stream him laddering every once in awhile. Like he did in the beginning of hots beta. I don't really care much for watching people play random games, but more power to him. The fact that he can still do this show without it having gone completely stale is an impressive feat and funday mondays are as fun as ever.

Agreed, both him and Tasteless were at their prime several years ago, they've had their fill of competition and have now swapped into an equally (if not more) important role in the scene they love which is also more stable for them financially.

While he's carved a great niche for himself that's a lot more stable and sustainable than playing as a pro, I am pretty sure that this statement isn't the case. Day[9] works extremely hard to sustain his business and his brand, certainly more than eight-hour days. It's just that the community doesn't see it because a lot of that effort is behind the scenes.

In the earlier days of Sc2 and the day9 daily he was definitely working his ass off, I remember a daily where he said he was taking his first week off in something like 2 years.
