I wonder which progamers have been testing it.
I'm entirely sure Hanbit Stars would be, since Hanbitsoft distribute SC in Korea.

"Blizzard had mentioned there may be a deal forthcoming regarding broadcasting their games on television in North America."
what the french connection united kingdom...

I think I heard Pillars (multi-RTS skilled player) was working for Blizzard. That was years ago though, don't know if it's still true.

Those Bastards at Blizzard have been lying to us for 4 years!
|
no unit selection limits? k bye.
|
Right, it's so good that you have this crippled 12 unit selection in bw -- so that newbies won't be able to beat you with attack moved units.
Get a clue, seriously.

*woah* talk about secrecy blizzard kept tight lips for 4 whole years... wow!! haha
|
4 years no one single geek to get fired and tell everything? omg!

Which made me happy, cause even though I wasn't around back when he was playing, seeing as how he was one of the early greats of BW I'm sure he's the right person for the job :D

let's just hope that blizzard scrap the whole concept of no unit selection limits :O
|
Hmm yeah, I dont think I like no limit to unit selection either
Other than that I cant wait for it to be released.

1 thing of great interest to me that I read on blizz's SC2 faq is
What steps are being taken to prevent cheating in multiplayer games?
We don't want to tip our hand to the people who may try to cheat on Battle.net, so we can't go into too much detail, but rest assured that security is one of our top priorities as we redesign and overhaul Battle.net, and we will take every precaution to ensure fairness in our online games.
finally they may be able to prevent maphacking by overhauling B.net, lets hope the devs figure out a way to really prevent cheating becoming a problem
And WOW that article is very good news........pros testing it..that's going to help the game so much, well if they listen to the pros' freedback
and no unit selection limits...i think this is an ok feature to add..and high number of devs is very very good, see i knew all that WoW revenue was going to be good for something
also i saw this on Wiki:
Though currently no release date has been given, it has been stated that development on the game began shortly after Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne back in 2003 and that the game development is "very far along," and already playable in multiplayer with all three factions. which means it very well could be out by the end of this year, especially after seeing the gameplay videos, and beta within a few months is my guess!

Anyone feel like SC2 is like Blizzard's attempt to make a Supreme Commander?

From the little footage they've released, it doesn't look Supreme Commander-ish at all.

With that mothership thing, it reminds me of the SupCom super weapon thingies...
