Anyways, if I had a computer that could play SC2 right now I would be all over this. It is always great to have a strong community, not just for the people in it, but also for your professional/academy teams to have a dedicated fan base. If I had any advise, try to include your professional and academy players in the community. Of course they have to practice, but maybe have them spend an hour coaching as a price for community events, or do in-house clan wars or team events where the pros play against the community. That was there is something truly unique and special about the community and it will build the fan base for the pros. You would be surprised how many people in the community would watch clan wars/tournaments where they could see the players that helped coach them, or played against in a showmatch, or eveen just had a fun conversation with. Good luck!

If a was a plat player who was serious about improving, could I also be in the general community to play customs and teams if I am in the mood for those? Or do I just apply for one and maybe participate through in game chat and forums of the others? I just hope that players who want both to improve but also want to have fun don't have to choose one or the other to be in the community. Good luck! Yes, there is overlap. That is why there is the "general community division," for everyone within the community team to participate if they please. We have plans to get the academy and pro team involved down the line. It won't happen right away but we have several options to bridge interaction. For right now, the Academy is most closely involved with the Master's Division. Thanks for all the input!

Well, we do take players for the community team from all regions! But it's only worth it if you are able and enjoy playing on the NA region. If you already have an active team on EU or whatever your home region may be, then there isn't much point. Eventually we plan to expand both the community team and the Academy into EU. But first we need sponsors! On May 11 2013 15:53 GunPaladin wrote: Clarity Gaming, not the team we want but the team we need. Keep doing amazing work please. Thanks! I like to think we're "not the team we deserve, but the team we need," but that's just me No bias here or anything. And yes, we will! There will be a clan for the Master's Division. [CGco] after the [CGac] for the Academy and [CG] of the Pro Team!

CLARITY FIGHTING That is great to hear! Yes, the idea is to have the same structure that the Academy and Master's Division receives flow all the way down through the other divisions. Everything will come in time. We have had 6 people apply for staff positions which is a great start. The next step is bringing them up to speed. Then we will move forward on the little things like clan group tags and all that. Yes, there will be further instruction sometime next week. We have to bring new staff up to speed and get everything else underway (forums up and running on our website, clan/public group, etc) and then we'll have more details out. Expect them by Thursday of next week (the 23rd). On May 14 2013 14:09 Whiplash wrote: Constantly impressed by the Clarity crew, keep it up guys! Thanks Whiplash! Greatly appreciate the support! And I have doubled checked the spam folders to make sure no one was missed. If you have not received an acceptance email, then we have not received your application. So, please resubmit if that is the case!

In the Google Document application, it says "Please copy and paste this application and submit it IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL to the following email: claritycommunityteam@gmail.com" But the hyperlink on that email actually goes to claritycommunity@gmail.com, so when I clicked on that it sent it to the wrong email. Sending to the proper email address now.

Anyone can participate in the community team on any level from anywhere globally. They will just have to do so by playing on the NA region on battle.net if they want to interact outside of the Skype and Forum Chats.
