Axiom is a team that is really particular about who they pick up, and it's a really tight knit team. Just look at the way the team members interact with one another during the GSTL suggests closeness and familiarity and that all the members are really trusting and comfortable with one another. I think that is a huge asset, and probably a major reason why Axiom-Acer is doing so well, beating teams that are much larger and on paper much stronger. They will need to get a Zerg player though, because having a balanced racial lineup is also really important.

Startale will be tough, but if everyone from Axiom-Acer is present, it's still definitely winnable.

Edit, didn't realise the brackets were already up, no team kills confirmed! But daaym shit gets real now Alicia V Hero, Crank V Alive and Ryung V Moonglade. Crank and Ryung should be fine, I'm a little worried for Alicia. Good luck boys.

Good luck boys. aLive could be tricky, but Crank has shown pretty solid PvT, beating TheSTC 2-0, as well as Yoda and Byun in the GSTL. Ryung should be the heavy favorite against Moonglade, and Moonglade has looked vulnerable in his ZvT games, but was always able to stabilize in the lategame, so Ryung will need to prepare for that. Alicia is probably the underdog, but I wonder how strong his PvP is. We've actually seen very few games of Alicia's PvP in tournaments. We do have this: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IGN_ProLeague_Season_6/HotS_Invitational/Korean_Online_Qualifier But of course it's from a while ago, and loses a bit of relevance. Hopefully he can upset Hero. Go Axiom! Let's see another 3 for 3 in the Ro8!
