This is probably my favorite FPVOD in SC2 (despite it being only 3mins) because of just how damm efficient he is. No bullshit camera hot key spams for this cowboy.
EDIT: It switches to Bogus's FP from 0:10 onwards

If they enforced a rule where everyone has to play on one setting then this would be resolved but players would complain.

(FPView of their comp screen). It's just like splicing in another camera angle but from their computer no?

They switched between obs and players multiple times and they had very different graphics, but I personally don't mind that. In any case they could just put FPs on seperate streams (I think Iron Squid did this actually!) and then make those "premium" streams or whatever. I'd definitely pay for their pov.

Imagine going from Bogus's pov (high settings?) to his opponent who plays on the lowest setting. That would be really jarring and look bad on a broadcaster's perspective. Not to mention that a lot of pros actually play on low settings (Zerg players) and it looks TERRIBAD.

I would prefer the old OSL way where the commentators tell you "We are about to go into Flash's FPVOD" and they transition smoothly from Observer--> 20-30 seconds of Flash punishing decadents---> Observer

I am pretty sure as an observer you can switch from observing to FPV of a player while keeping your graphic setting. You do not see the player screen, you see his moves on your screen.

User was warned for this post you're right most terrans don't waste a ton of resources on hellbat drops and come out of the early game at about even supply as protoss. innovation wasted a ton of resources on hellbat drops and comes out ahead. surely that's a point for innovation being insanely good rather than terran being op.
