Why? As someone from a post-communist country I think it's awesome.

A rare misstep from Chexx, we'll see if understands what's at steak. In my defense Chef is german for Boss ^^ Sure sure... You know what they say - if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen! Just admit it. You got served. If I only knew the German word for ninja. way ahead of you! ps: its Ninja Shouldn't be too hard to remember hahaha. And dayum. Looks like he made a woong move. But for serious, how can they: 1) Cheat. That's pretty despicable. 2) Be so dumb when they cheat? I am glad they weren't so they were caught, but geez. Were there any other repercussions? Or just the dq?
The guy who ran the online tournament does not have too much power as far as I know, but what happened today will be added to the long list of piece of shit behaviour Woong has carried out over all these years. When will he stop? Or will he be stopped? There's a reason why he was the most hated professional League of Legends player before his retirement, but it's kind of odd how such a person keeps being so heavily involved in the scene, yet some people are stopped from being a professional for faults that are no more detrimental to the scene than what the likes of Woong has done. There's definately no consistency, and it makes me think that people only care about justice when their own interests are involved.

I think the skin is great. LoL needs more bears in my opinion.

I don't know who's going to be able to afford it in this bear economy.

There are lots of situations where a guy isnt paying attention and goes agressive without wards and its an easy kill. However if you are too stubborn and try to gank when its not that clear thats when you get counter ganked, or your laner wasts his cds or you do a bad dive or you camp a brush and waste time etc.
After 6, you and laners have ults and its ok to plan for ganks then sometimes, but generally playing reactively is more than enough to get fed anyway
I duo q with a plat friend so I'm usually in high gold - low plat with the occasional Diamond V. In NA, that's basically where they do ward the common places or smell baits at an ok level. My common tactic is to either time wards (normally pretty obv when they wander off in the direction and go back to lane with the ward gone from inventory) commonly checking by just tabbing when I'm on a camp. I also pink a lane if I think there's heavy gank potential (ie. Leona, Blitz, Thresh bot lane or top lane Darius, etc). I have a lot of issues ganking mid lane. I'll def take the playing reactively into consideration because I do think I try to "make plays" way too often and sometimes it backfires horribly. (Such as trying to steal all their buffs). I wouldn't say it's because I'm "too stubborn" as much as I hate when my team bitches about lack of jungle presence so in solo queue I likely force a lot more often than I should.

You mean offensively badass?

wat.
Red Alert has had bear cavalry type units fighting for the Soviet Union in their games for years. No one, that I know of, got offended by it. I don't think many people, if any, would be offended at Riot for making the same joke (and a much more tame one since it's only implied that it's Soviet-type stuff not directly claiming it is like Red Alert did).
No one was offended by Imperial Lux.

I don't think people actually RODE on bears in Red Alert. I have played all 3 RA games.

But he's a MoonBear, not a SunBear, heretic!

Forgive my ignorance on Russian stereotypes. but is it a common one that Russian are portrayed as bear-riders? I don't get where the offensive bit comes in...
