It wouldnt make a difference. Protoss skill ceiling is too low. Supernova didnt even have to split or make a concave..
The skill ceiling is infinite for all races, you can always do things better.
skills such as splitting and managing drops that actually make a huge difference when improved is what protoss lacks, it's hard to differentiate yourself from others, you can most certainly always improve in other areas, but they always have less impact, take maru for instance, he wins a lot of games just because of his godlike unit control, protoss doesn't really have that.
Not having to micro (much) your units to get the most out of them is a massive advantage, and same for not having to pressure your opponent to death. Plus Protoss can win games with "pure" unit control too, just because it materialises less in "fancy stuff" or is less impressive to watch doesn't mean it's not there.
Wow this map... if you lure zerg into the easy to defend base and use blinkstalkers or something to kill the rocks to have the best forcefield in the game.
