ForGG has been ripped off. He could have gotten into the yearly finals but now he won't have enough points.
FRUSTRATION !!!!!! He still has 1850 points, I'd say he's got a great chance of getting to the yearly finals.

Im just laughing hard at people saying Grubby is better than ForGG. Yeah sure Grubby is better than Hero and sOs, we all know that.

Of course since we all know that when protoss wins they only a-move and terrans have to actually control their things which means lag is worse for terran than it is for protoss!

This game felt so bad... ForGG was sitting on two bases for so much longer, I would have thought he would have an opportunity to do something... still his army looked wimpy and the the only drop was shut down by the photon overcharge.
Hellbat nerf just kicked in, as it was the supposed counter to the mass zealot composition that Grubby had that just does not counter them all that much any more.
The same story as on Vestige... he sees the oracle... he defends... he sees the zealots... he makes the right call... he dies... again. What the hell.
Well, we have 7th toss in the ro16.

3 of 7 koreans out, next round 1-2 more out so we have 2-3 in final 8 and then 2 foreign go trough again i feel ^^

I'm just laughing at you saying that that last game was won by Grubby because of lag and not because ForGG failed to scout the fast 3rd.

FRUSTRATION !!!!!! He could have played in KR scene. He didnt choose do to do so. These bureaucratic shitz is part of playing games on prolevel in other regions... But forgg lost fair and square.. grubster had him. I even believe his games against vortix were really awefull. He lost his spot there and then not against grubster. Not he could not have, he plays in a French team, he wants to live in France.. Stop this fucking rhetoric. ForGG contrary to all those mercenaries on EG, coL or even TL (yep I said it) is commited to live in the EU region. He has done every thing that was required from him and his visa was delivered but never arrived in Seoul. So yep, he has been punished because he went the extra mile and pushed the boundaries a little further. Meanwhile duckdeok advances with cheeses.

Stupid excuses again. Better player won. lol no. "better player" did not win, actually Grubby is a ofc a cool guy, a good player and I like him more than ForGG but it is obvious, that Terran that need to MICRO to win, no matter what matchup, are more affected by lag then Grubby was. If the "better" player won, why did Grubby opt 2x for allin/timing attacks instead of a straight up macro game against this korean terran? So mad get shrekt m8
You should also ask why forgg felt the need to eco-cheese. He should have instead gone for safe play, which means he wouldn't have died.

Tough titties, it's his own fault. not really his fault because he wanted to be here but he had visa issues due to esports not being recognize as an athlete thing. Otherwise he would be in europe playing.
He still wanted to play WCS EU. He can't get a visa to go to France? What about every other country in Europe? You might argue that would be a ridiculous level to go to to get a decent ping for ONE competition, but that's the thing about choosing to play WCS EU rather than Korea.

The thing that really screwed ForGG over aside from not scouting that third base is how quickly Grubby got storm up. Against a standard zealot/archon midgame, there might have been a timing to pressure Grubby. But what Grubby did that was smart as HELL is skipping the robo to get to splash faster, also delaying his upgrades. Why? Well, because an oracle opening usually delays that. You'll want a double forge down usually and then head towards splash damage. Grubby actually just cut out the part where he needs upgrades to defend by having 7 freaking templar with storm research done when ForGG's initial moveout came.
