Glad you had fun :D
#5 has been hard for pretty much everyone. For #12, it'd be easier to figure out if you were an astronaut. Your #21 and #50 are quite fantastic ^^ #42... not so much

You didn't state that it had to be your answers. If anything my answer for 24 is a better rhyme than what you intended. Also
+ Show Spoiler +Brain teasers are supposed to be semantically ambiguous but logical. #5 makes no sense because just because the first sentence can be phrased in a way similar to how time is told doesn't mean that the time can be determined by it. It relies on wordplay but there is no connection, not even metaphorically. I think it is a poorly formulated riddle. :p

I would accept your #24 answers, sure. But I consider my answer to #5 to be quite legitimate.
EDIT: My answer to #5 + Show Spoiler +has nothing to do with 5 to 5 or 25 to 5 or whatever. Those were suggestions which I found interesting.

Going to try this, will edit this post.
Riddles: + Show Spoiler +1. One stack of hay. Lots of hay. 2. E 3. River 4. There is no smoke, it's electric. 5. Is it Christmas time? Mary = Merry and 5 by 5 is 25. Plus it's the morning (guess). 6. 7. Hand them all out and give one kid the basket along with is apple? Or put the kid in the basket. 8. He's being buried alive!?! 9. Normal. 10. They're not human? Perhaps they're cats? 11. The match. 12. D? I'm trying to find numerical patterns, but I don't think it's right. 13. U! The letter U! I just got this before submitting, that's why I'm happy. 14. Put all but one white marble in the one jar and one white one in the other jar. You have just under a 75% chance at survival assuming the jar you pick from is chosen at random.
Rhyme Time: + Show Spoiler +15. Quick brick. 16. Cruel dual. 17. Mint lint. 18. Hour power. 19. Nickel pickle. 20. Lamp champ. 21. Sydney kidney. 22. Starvin' Marvin. 23. Winter printer. 24. Devil level.
Double Vision: + Show Spoiler +25. Watching a watch. 26. Night knight. 27. Polish Polish 28. Angel angel? 29. Cell cell.
Tribond: + Show Spoiler +30. Trunks. 31. Seeds. 32. Magnum. 33. Keys. 34. Mobile? 35. Whites. 36. Dribble. 37. Ma(i)ne. 38. Mew? Dunno about the continent. 39. Stroke. 40. Eggs. 41. Monopoly. 42. 43. Races of Starcraft!
Ditloid: + Show Spoiler +44. 24 hours in a day. 45. 7 days in a week. 46. 100 pennies in a dollar. 47. 48. 64 sockets on a circuit board? 49. 206 bones in the adult human body. 50. How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?
That's my entry (with some assistance from my roommates over dinner) for now. Dunno if it can be edited or if I missed some really obvious ones. Hope it's good!

I'll post all of the answers tomorrow
But as far as #5 is concerned (which seemed to give the most people the most trouble), here is the solution:
+ Show Spoiler +5. One morning, Mary gave five cents to each of her five sons. What time is it, and why?
The answer is whatever time it currently is. For example, right now for me it's 10:01 PM Eastern time. The first sentence about the money and the sons is completely irrelevant; it's misdirection. A few people got crafty and said something like "5 to 5 (o'clock)" or "25 to 5 (o'clock)", implying that minutes = cents and hours = sons, but there's really no justification to apply that exchange. All things considered, the real answer is pretty dickish, and I give points for creativity to anyone who tried doing something like "5 to (each of) 5" or "25 to 5 (total)".

D'OH! I had no problem with the other questions like that :D

Glad I got the answer in for #5 before the spoiler I enjoyed the brain teasers but some of them did feel like those silly ones where the you just have to guess the answer the person was thinking of instead of having a definite answer.
