Then I have like a 2 level advantage where i can just flash hook for a free fb when they come back to lane. People seriously underestimate the darius early level deeps!
Also i am yet to find a truly rough matchup when i start reju + 5 hp pots + 1 mana pot + ward. You can even bully teemo post lvl 3.
I imagine as i get higher elo people will see this sort of cheese coming more and will stop trying to trade with me in melee range... Oh well, abusing it while i can!
It will stop working once you get higher. The facecheck basically autowins vs anyone not named riven but soon everyone is going to give the jungler four autoattacks and walk through the tribush to lane and not miss any cs/exp against any anti-facecheck champion (Lee, darius, riven, etc).
Darius pretty much auto-wins levels 1-4 against most top laners but there are certain tops (Jax/Irelia in particular) that can win at the level 4/5, pre-6 area. I also doubt you've met a good kennen. You'll get your E+Q, get stunned instantly and then get mercilessly poked/zoned for the next 20 seconds. Enjoy Darius while he lasts ;D

I think generally too many people focuses on mechanics when coming into LoL and wanting to get to Diamond or whatever fast.
I mean, the mechanics in LoL are for most champions so easy you should be able to do them if you played any other game like BW, SC2, or an FPS game at any high level (except for a few cases like Lee or LeBlanc where you actually need some level of micro)
Getting "good" at LoL and getting to the highest end of the ladder is much more about strategy, timing, knowledge, map-awareness and gamesense.

any way to win lee vs ryze top ?he just sat entire early game behind minions so it was impossible to have clean q on him and without it i lose all the exchanges after a while he farmed enough to win every trade and i was kinda doomed at this point, playing melee top seems so pointless atm ...

I have played a few kennens but none that are good enough at managing their stuns so I can normally trade alright. Kennens auto range is the same as hook range so I find punishing bad kennens once makes them stop trying to auto harass me. Again this is just people playing the matchup badly especially as I don't think my opponents realise the HUGE cd on darius hook.
I used to play a lot of Riven top and do a similar thing, I should probably learn a less cheesy top laner. I think building hydra into bulwark on darius is a pretty huge team power spike early though. Can just insta push top then roam mid / drake and team fight with the early aura way before the enemy team get an ageis, op shit in low level solo que. Or just split push all day and 1v2-3 like a boss when they come if you get fed ^^

How come all TPS is streaming today ?

I don't get why Lee would ever try to Q randomly... do those ever hit?
I would just spam E E and use autos, Q is really easy to land when he's slowed and running in a completely obvious direction/away. The shield/lifesteal also lets you outsustain his mana forcing him OOM... I have no idea why you would ever lose in that matchup.

Don't question, just embrace it. Was quite happy when I loaded up my stream plug in and saw all of them streaming at once.

I can't get Mitsake's stream to work though :/

Yeah his and godJJ's don't work for me either. T__T

Scip, as you predicted, 100 lp and no promo series. There's a guy in my division in a promo already, and another sitting at 100 who's been on a winning streak in his match history, so looks like this might take a while T_T.
In other news, I'm starting to see a lot of top lane vayne here, seems fairly effective. I won the last game against it because late game trist > late game graves and late game trist > late game vayne, so late game trist > vayne + graves. I think if you're a mechanic heavy top laner (or you want to improve your mechanics), it's worth trying out.
On the other hand, both times I've seen it the opposing top lane did a doran's shield start, and imo that really shouldn't be necessary as vlad/rumble vs. vayne, since you should outdamage her anyway. But before people start to get wise on counterplay, I think it'll be strong in solo queue, since you have great harass with tumble and normal autos + silver bolts, you have gank disengage and vayne is #1 bruiser killer next to poppy in general.
|
I think I've lost every time I've faced a team with a top vayne :\ Normally gets shut down early but at some point she gets enough farm at top and gets some critical items, shows up to the team fights and gets a triple kill every time
|
Trist > vayne + graves cos the 2 adcs usually still play like pansies.

I hit Silver 3 and then lost 5 games in a row without getting demoted wtf

speaking of skarner
Overall -Overall mana costs reduced (probably looking at E first its super costly)
Q -Hopefully removing permaslow by making the slow only occur on every other Q instead of all Qs after the first. To balance the loss in slow duration here, I want to make it a much stronger slow that decays over time but leaves gaps for people to counterplay. Hopefully this will be fun for skarner players too because they can now make some smart decisions when they want to use the new more powerful Q slow.
W -Increase the movespeed buff so that it is closer to other similar champs like Udyr and Volibear -Possibly make the movespeed ramp up over time so its not too powerful of an escape "get out of jail free" ability -Lower cooldown back to 14s from 18s like it was a few patches ago -Strengthen the shield amount/AP ratios (to compensate for the loss of heal from E) -Remove attack speed from the W buff
E -Instead of the heal, proccing the E mark on targets will now give skarner his attack speed buff -Increase total damage, but split it up so that only some is up front and the rest happens when you proc the mark -Reduce mana cost -Look into better usability (faster projectile, faster cast, etc) may be one or all of these
R -Fix more edge cases so that the R will reliably go off on targets once it has been cast
I don't really like it.

Yeah I was expecting something along moving the snare to E and the heal to empowered Q. These don't really address what he's trying to address (Skarner being kited and Skarner perma snaring.) It's just making his perma snare slightly less reliable and making him faster like Udyr and Voli, who both also suffer from being kited all day.
I think the comparison to Voli is really good though because right now what does Skarner really bring that Voli doesn't? Voli's toss not being flashable pretty much makes it better than Skarner's ult.

Speaking of "snare", it's kind of weird how lol uses that term to mean "root" while d3 (never played wow, sorry) uses it to mean "slowed"

Also, you actually have half a teemo less range on your grab than he has on his autoattack.
