Oh how I would love to see Thorin's reaction to that statement!

That is quite a statement of intent from Acer.
Planning for the next GSTL perhaps?

Last Time EG started to recruit Koreans it ended beeing a Korean only team (well, sort of...). I wonder if thats what will happen to every sponsored team out there.
I mean, It makes sence getting Koreans if they want to since they probably will bring better results.

I hope Acer has some money left over to design new team jerseys. Otherwise: awesome pickup. Looking forward to seeing more of Innovation. Maybe they can also pick up Major? :D

Like MrVideo posted earlier, Innovation's skill might decline (just a speculation) because he won't be strapped to a strict practice regime anymore. My thoughts were the same when I read that he will be joining the ranks of the awesome Acer team. There is actually no real reason to worry about this, because Innovation will probably just stick to the formula that has made him so successful in the past.

I think this is a good thing, overall. Increasing the power of foreign teams, and the need of KeSPA to work with other organizations is good for esports as a whole. Keep in mind that their loyalty is ultimately to 7 Korean teams (and 11 Korean companies) and the South Korean government, not to this life's passion that we as fans like to call esports. If you live in any of the 205 countries in the world that are not South Korea, you should be happy about this.

This, on the other hand, you should not feel happy about.

Yea, the fact some of the best koreans can pratice with foreigner in the same team, is really good for foreign scene. And innovation in WCS EU? plz :> But nor more after :p. Really sad to learn that so many ppl will lose their jobs :/.
But theres still a saddest thing: comments on gamespot about the article -_-...

Oh I don't even know where to start. But out of all the journalist in esports, slasher is yellow press and all the good guys (which you apparently don't even know of which is kinda sad) are very far away from the gossip level slasher uses to get gamespot their clicks to let him keep his job.

Yeah because Acer's loyalty is totally to the passion of esports.
There's nothing good about Kespa's decline if there is no an organization just LIKE Kespa to replace it and do all the things Kespa used to do.
It just means we'll never have a real structure again. Instead of having a continuation of the scene that already lasted a decade, the entire foundation built by Brood War will be destroyed and replaced by some pointless random chaos where everybody does whatever the hell they want. Scene like that will never reproduce the same level of competition we used to have.

we got spoiled big time on this one..shame

This is only the first step in not only securing Flash's top Terran spot in proleague and making Fantasy second, but also giving Flash a clean road to the next GSL/OSL titles (if innovation leaves Korea that is). Bwahahahahaa! :D

they kinda brought it on themselves. They should have kept quiet and then dropped the bomb. You cant make an announcement of an announcement and hope that people dont figure it out.

Oh man.... Scarlett, whom already having one of the best ZvT's in the world, will improve ZvT massively. I'm going to guess Scarlett will have the best ZvT IN THE WORLD after Innovation joins.
