I don't own a Line 6, but I hear everywhere they're pretty crappy. Your best choice is to try one out

Line 6 gets a bad rep because their sound doesn't necessarily scale at volume with their spider amps. I have a line 6 spider 2 150 watt with a 4x12 cab, and boy does it sound good alone in a room, but I've never gotten it to make the tone I want while playing with others. Those are fairly common amps though, so if you have a local guitar center, go play one. Go to a local shop and play a bunch, try a variety of tube and solid state amps. When I was looking for an amp, I went to every store in my general area looking until I played through a mesa dual rectifier and the sound was everything I had ever wanted.

I got myself a nice Yamaha Pacifica 112 BL and a Peavey Vypyr VIP 1. + Show Spoiler + Hope to rock Wish me best of luck! :D The Pacifica was my first electric as well. Great instrument for the price!

Arrived yesterday, I've never felt so fat in my life trying to play G-Dur lol. T_T was a bit frustrating that I can hit 300 apm in Starcraft but cannot play simple G-Dur without muting another string TT;;

Play us something bro (terran theme, cough... cough.. http://www.gametabs.net/pc/starcraft/terran-theme-1 If it was me you were responding thank you :p But in my memory terran theme was hard. I'm not that great of a guitarist. Also.. Carpal tunnel ftw :p But i'll give it a shot if i have time. Also i need to get it to the shop because i didn't play for a long time so i sure need some tunning on the frets (you know.. maintenance) and change my strings because it's like 2 year old. I have a question for guitar enthousiast. I found the model of the old guitar that my borther in law gave me for a time (i don't know the english word for rent, but free). It's a Schon L'arrivée Reverse Standard in "turquoise" color. It's the white model on the image bellow. Is it worth anything ? I remember that this guitar was great but... that was when i started.

Thanks for a huge grin dude, i wish you the best of luck! :D You have an awesome experience ahead of you, whether it is just fooling around and learning about stuff you find inspiring or really digging into it while getting excited about every breakthrough that you discover and frustrated each time you hit a wall. Simply enjoy the ride and you will rock, i promise you that!

Theres just something about '80s shred guitars with point headstocks that I love. I don't know what the price is for that particular one (its made in canada by L'arrivée), but the ones made by jackson are going for upwards of $2k. According to some guy on the les paul forum they're on par with the quality of the jackson soloist. Either way, pretty sweet guitar. (and I believe the word you were looking for was "loaned")

This is what I've been drooling over lately: http://www.blackwaterguitars.com/main/index.php/finished-instruments/14-sample-data-articles/79-05-01 This guy makes awesome guitars, that I can't afford. But the beautiful orange quilted maple top has inspired me to get one similar. I'm thinking at some point when I have money lying around I'll order a carvin with that color. But there's nothing quite like that headstock (even though its a black machine rip-off).

I've got a couple of Ibbies currently - a RG7620 (painted all bright red!!) and a USA custom RG which unfortunately has been painted over but that's ok because it plays like a 90s MIJ RG anyways (has BKP coldsweats). Also, that LTD pic above, Nice cockstock!
