A friend of mine named SnowSC2 asked me to make a post detailing this Custom Map and I have thought that the map itself is quite intricate when compared to other maps played.
First and foremost the Map itself does alter already pre-existing units / abilities (fungal growth is not in game, but there are lurkers and metabollic boost also doubles as adrenal glands), some aspects of SC2 are changed like Starbow is.
The game itself is based on two players trying to kill each other while simultaneously defending themselves against absolute onslaughts of enemies from all three races - zerg, protoss, and terran.
After playing this a few times myself, I must say that any amount of early game harass / damage to economy can put you miles ahead of your opponent, as defending against absolute hoards of enemies can be a hassle and the number of units you have defending is key to beating your opponent. There are also brief windows of time where the incoming waves of enemies stop coming, and then you may be free to attack your opponent head on.
