Lol I actually got the impression from last chapter that she would just be a quick in and out character (a few of those have come and gone). Once she started talking about remembering the girls though (and Tachibana seemed frazzled) you knew this was coming. I mean it was obvious that 1 more girl was going to appear, as the author basically told us straight up that 1 more was coming. She has been good enough so far that I don't hate it. I always liked her character archetype.
She is the nice girl type. Although i thought she would overlap with Kosaki Onodera's character.
And if she is the last harem catch does that mean ?! WE FINALLY GET TO SEE A PLOT DEVELOPMENT :D we will finally see progress to follow up with the last plot development which would be the time where Raku was at Kosaki's house.
Well she seems to actually remember shit about back then. She will probably take a while to spill the details while teasing everyone before having her serious moment. Wouldn't it be hilarious of she ends up being the "princess" character from the book and the girls we have known for most of the manga are the "support" girls from the book?
I'm assured that she is. But What I think is gonna happen is that he's going to realize she's the girl he promised, but that he loves Kosaki/Onodera instead and then finally stop clinging to the past.

I agree onodera/kirisaki lategame will always be stronger no matter what plot device the author uses.
Na, we all know that Shuu is into older women. Claude obviously fell in love with Raku after watching him all this time and ends up having to fight off both mafia groups to rescue Raku because they don't approve of their love. He will go all Matrix storming the building style with Tsugumi, who comes to terms with the fact that she won't win and supports her mentor.
alright alright here's what happened, yui planted random keys on all the notable girls in the area and the locket on raku. she moved away after some years but couldnt contain her curiosity regarding how raku has been dealing with the harem love stress that she created back in the day... so now she's back with the REAL key. THE LONG CON

could happen and maybe that would be the plotdevice the author used to make raku realize and FINALLY make a move for kirisaki/onodera and not live in the past kind of plot.

that new end is just.. so contrived smh the original end was such a great way to round it out, I feel like this shit is such a flagrant brute attempt at opening up the plot for more movies in the future
Homura realizes she made a mistake letting madoka become the god that eliminates all witches, which madoka was more forced into given the circumstances when she made her wish. So homura tries to undo that and give madoka the normal life that she wanted.
Def unnecessary, as the tv series did a great job with the ending but not terrible.
The complaint isn't whether you think the story was good or bad but that it was written with the purpose of continuing to milk the series, hence the open ending.
well I don't mind extending the series if your plot/idea is well written and convincing, then by all means, make more japanese cartoons so I can enjoy them later.
but the way urobuchi went about writing the plot seemed so forced, and it didn't even open up the series in a way that the plotline could be continued in a fluid, organic manner. like + Show Spoiler +
in a way, it makes sense that homura would be a natural opposite of madoka simply because the series revolves around balance - madoka's selfless love had to be countered by homura's selfish love.
but rewriting the universe again is such an artificial plot device. it seems ridiculous that homura had the same power as madoka to do remake the universe off the simple basis of 'love'. even if you argue it's based off her wish to protect madoka there were a billion other simpler ways to bring it about
whatever I'm still looking foward to more installments lmao
Godly comedy? Great cast? Pretty good drama? Romance that doesn't suck? Why the hell did the anime decide to skip the best arc in favor of covering new material that kinda depends on developments in said arc (referencing it with newly animated flashbacks, no less)?
I think 08th team was the best, it showed the view side from the grunt perspective and really emphasized the "real robot" aspect of the show. Also the teamwork in the show was really refreshing from a Gundam series standpoint.
I probably enjoyed Unicorn the most because its goddamn eye candy and the soundtrack is amazing. Not to mention its Universal Century! The best century! Notable mentions go to Seed:Stargazer and 0080 war in the pocket.
