I'm absolutely aware of where I'm at. You're just further proving my point. Quit taking things so personally and maybe you won't get offended as often. He in his mind thought he was offering something constructive, when in reality it was just a rant. I just called him on it is all. As did TB. You both come to defend again, fan vision in my eyes.
You have absolutely 0 clue as to who I am a fan of and not a fan of. Don't assume things - it's a bad habit. I've been watching avilo for a long time now and see the good and bad in him, I consider my self a fan, but a realistic one. Dudes entertaining, but the dude has flaws. I'm not going to pretend like he does/doesn't and feel extreme one way or the other. Haven't you ever liked somebody but disliked things about them? Yeah thats how I feel about Avilo. His unnecessary rage, his map hacking assumptions / stream cheating assumptions, his auto-leaves vs protoss, his needless moments of over dramatic defeat, his general ego all annoy me a lot. But he's good, can be funny, very informative, commentates non-stop, plays are unique, free kungfu lessons, has an immense amount of passion, and best of all, has a genuine LOVE for the game. I'm not flaming you at all, I'm not upset that you're a fan of avilo - it don't bother me, but yeah to quote you I do feel like a lot of you blindly defend him. People attack him blindly ten times more often then hes defended, and it sucks. But a lot of you really do act as if he's perfect, and if you like him, you should know that doesn't exactly help him right?
My absolute favorite moment with avilo so far though is his appearance on unfiltered. You catch that love and then some just watching it, and he just waded through everybody's bullshit and kept trying. He wanted to talk about the game, they wanted to talk about Avilo, but in the end maybe both got their way. His attitude on the show was phenomenal.
But he's an asshole sometimes. Thats just a fact. And because I said so doesn't mean I don't like the guy, i'd just like a little more honesty

And because I said so doesn't mean I don't like the guy, i'd just like a little more honesty Okay man. Sorry I jumped to conclusions about you. I guess I just got a bit paranoid after being attacked and mocked by TB in an LR thread, got called a cunt in several PMs from some random user simply for being an Avilo fan, got a random death-threat in a twitch stream chat (forget which one), etc. etc.
I guess all those things happening made me a bit paranoid, and I jumped to conclusions. For that I apologize.
As for the other things you say, first let me say that I am not blind to the fact that Avilo has flaws. Yes, he does rage at his opponents sometimes, and he shouldn't. It's not a good thing to do, which leads to one of the other criticisms you had of him: That he auto-leaves vs Protoss. This is something I'm actually going to defend. Why? Well, the reason he does it is because he's trying to work on the first criticism. He's trying not to rage. And he's found that TvP tends to make him rage. So he's making a HUGE sacrifice to try and curb his raging. I mean auto-losing 1 out of 3 matches does not do pretty things to your MMR, but it is helping him not rage as much. So while yes, obviously it would be ideal for him to be able to not rage even when playing TvPs, you have to give him some credit for acknowledging his own weakness and taking the steps necessary to curb his raging.
Now as for your point about him constantly accusing others of stream-cheating/map-hacking:
Yes, I agree that sometimes he jumps to conclusions about his opponents, and that jumping to conclusions is not a good thing to do (hence why I apologized for jumping to conclusions about you). However, I really can't hold that against him because I've seen too many streams get completely shut down by stream cheaters. I've seen it happen to Artosis, Nathanias and Brentstarcraft, and even lesser-known streamers like LivinPink and ChicksTV. Heck, chickstv once had a stream-sniper who would stalk her when she wasn't streaming, and I've seen Artosis get repeatedly stream-sniped on multiple different occasions, one of which was followed up by a DDos.
Oh yeah, and I've seen Avilo get repeatedly stream-sniped by known map-hackers, and I've seen him get stream-sniped by random barcode accounts and then for the barcode account to reveal that it is, in fact, a smurf of the known map-hacker responsible for the former-mentioned stream-snipes (you've heard of Nerffy, right?).
And each of these incidents causes enough damage to the streamer's stream that I simply cannot blame them for being paranoid, even though I recognize that it is not good to jump to conclusions about people without proper evidence.
So there you have it PanN: just as my assumptions about you were false, your assumptions about me were also false. I'm fully aware that Avilo has his faults. But you know what? I think that he's still a pretty awesome guy, and a very talented and innovative SC2 player who has incredible patience and late-game sense. And the reason I don't bring up his faults is because he has 1349861 haters who do it all the time, and I've always felt that with that many haters constantly bringing them up and spouting insults at him, it would be most unnecessary for me to do so as well.
Edit: TB didn't "just" call Avilo on his faults: TB called Avilo toxic, and also said, in the LR thread where he made his comments about Avilo being toxic for the community, that anyone who's a fan of Avilo is also toxic for the community. So no, while I rescind what I originally said about you, I will not rescind what I said about TB, because TB made some extreme blanket statements about people who he knows nothing about. People like you, who are fans of Avilo who recognize that he, like everyone else, has faults.

If you'd actually read the thread, you'll notice that TotalBiscuit was never talking about the game in the first place. Also, if you had followed the situation and actually knew what you were talking about, you'd know that somebody wanted nothing more than to talk about the game on the Unfiltered show, and that a certain somebody else kept derailing the conversation. Now who do you suppose was the one derailing the conversation? I'll give you a hint: it starts with "T" and ends with "iscuit".

Thank you I tried reporting some of the posts that were hating on him, but nothing happened . I thought fanclubs were supposed to be holy ground?

I reported them as well. It depends on the fairness of the mods at the time. Most of them can see what is happening here and should not allow it to happen. A fan club is for FANS not for haters! How bright does a person have to be to realize that "fanbois" will be in a fan club? *shrugs

It wouldn't be ideal to not have it in the Fanclubs sub-forum, but by having it in the Blogs section, I could actually ban users from posting in here at my discretion. I'd be curious to know what you and Avilo would think of that. Of course, I don't know if TL would be willing to do that, but it's just a thought I had.

And yes, that three hour and fifteen minute game was a perfect example of why Avilo's fans like him so much. Most players don't often play games that last longer than 40 minutes, but just about every Avilo game lasts past the 45 minute mark.
