I am actually not sure whether Starbow limits you in either of those two but to put it really blunt I don't care enough to go and find out. Even if it wouldn't limit me on those two fronts it will still require more actions to get a game there than on the regular ladder. The real question for threads like these would be: Why should someone be playing Starbow instead of SC2? Anyways, I've semi-tried to play Starbow, but it's hard enough to find a custom game of SC2 let alone one of the mods. Without having a ladder like mechanism it's nearly impossible for the casual player (unless I post in the thread or figure our the chat channels to join, which is just too much work). | ||

Hopefully we can present the public with a well-flushed out game when we are done. I think I am starting to wish that TB had waited a bit with his sudden promotion. On the other hand, I think Starbow progress would have been much slower if he had not though. | ||

then theres the constant changes, whenever you want to go ladder you have to read through all of them as they are often super dramatic and game ending changes if unaware of them. next up we have matchmaking, it takes ages to find someone, let alone someone that is actually in your skill range. the complete lack of limited selection and easy spell casting are big deal breakers for me. | ||
