PS 7k post, congrats rabid scarlett fanclub! :) The widow mine and Thor buffs took a big bite out of the effectiveness of ling/bling/muta VS Terran, which is the style that made Scarlett so good in TvZ macro games. Terran's needed the buff imo, but I'm sad that some of my favorite Zergs are struggling with the match up now and Zergs don't play so much ling/bling/muta anymore, which was one of the most entertaining styles to watch.

PS 7k post, congrats rabid scarlett fanclub! :) GZGZ 7k posts we can easily make this the one with the most posts in a few months :p I actually liked her games vs iaguz a lot, I don't have access to the replays but as I remember from last night they were not bad at all imho. G1 - after the start she quickly switched into very aggressive expanding, when she realized there is not that much harass going on from iaguz. At some point she mustve thought "this is definitely not working with muta ling bane, its just too many widowmines" so she decided to switch into ultralisks / infestors, but by the time they came out iaguz was already all over with drops forcing her back to defend, as well as pushing with two armies on side bases. G2 - she switched into roach timing, and handled really nicely. After the natural was down, the game was totally in her favor and she just needed to have fun until the gg. G3 - i think that was a super good comeback: when she realized the game was rapidly running out of control she added the pack of SH which gave her much needed time to breathe and slowly reestablish expansions. Given the difficult spot that ZvT currently is in, she played very flexible at all times, she left windows for herself, builds that you can easily transition out of in case of emergency, etc. And she won. Id say its exactly how you should play nowadays, experiment what works vs T

Aside from balancing the ZvT matchup, I think Blizzard also purposefully wanted to patch the ling/muta/bling style out of the meta. Even though it's entertaining to watch, it's been around since WoL, and they probably wanted to encourage players to start experimenting with different types of compositions. Considering she's having to relearn the matchup entirely, I don't think it was the among "worst ZvT" that Scarlett has played, but I doubt that she would have won if she had played against a stronger player. And she needs to figure it out. Looking at the bracket, if she gets past Heart, she'll most likely play TaeJa in the semis, and then either Bomber or Polt in the finals, so a string of very strong Terrans stand between her and the title.

(She went 6-1 vs Polt etc.) But like I said, post buff, she has been struggling (Like most Zergs, with Terran having over a 54% winrate in the matchup. (Which is pretty considerable in sc2 Terms. She played well though :D

Was that comic published on TL? o_O Im not a big fan of the art but its still amazing. Am i the only one that never saw this or they actually made an entire comic just to keep it hidden on the RBB page? Its a shame that scarlett is not looking like scarlett at all, she is also a villain T_T. And more Scarlett here: http://www.redbull.com/us/en/esports/stories/1331679210764/a-study-in-scarlett-s-year

She really doesn't gain that much for going, and by not attending she has all that time just to study Heart. She herself said that she doesn't feel good about the match so haveing all that time is going to help tremendously.
