The Starcraft franchise being my favorite of all time, this makes me wanna play with those cards baaaaaad
Tremendous work !
My favorite character is Zeratul, are you working on a protoss hero? <3

Whenever I see someone come up with a new class and class cards, the cards are always hugely imbalanced (either underpowered or, more commonly, overpowered); this is surprisingly good by comparison!
These are the weakest points I saw:
1) I don't like the Hero Power, it doesn't seem to have synergy with enough class cards and is liable to fill your board with useless stuff that can't attack.
2) I dislike the Ultralisk card, it's practically invulnerable except to hard removal like Polymorph, Execute, Hunter's Mark, Siphon Soul, etc. Sludge Belcher is already crazy annoying because you need two damage sources to kill it; an Ultralisk with taunt from Sunfury Protector or Defender of Argus is just silly if your opponent has no hard removal, especially because you can later heal it with a Queen if it gets low.
3) Not as big of a deal as the other two points, but the only minion with higher attack than health you're showing is the baneling; in particular, it seems super odd to me that the Hydralisk has more health than attack, since it's a huge glass cannon in SC2. I understand that 3/4 stats are preferable to 4/3 stats in general, but at 4/3 with that Battlecry it'd still be good and a more accurate representation of the SC2 Hydra, I feel.

Interesting. Not as well fitting as the Terran though in my opinion. Some of the effects and stats didn't feel like it matched. Leviathan being a spell being one instead of the sole legendary minion of the class. Drop pods matches the effect of that spell better.
Don't quite agree with the Ultra effect. That effect would be what I place on an immortal instead. A reduce damage by one and/or an adjacent damage would fit more.
The swarm cards are quite OP if you leave the stat boosts as permanent. Either make it last one turn or lose the draw. Remember Shaman's blood lust only gives your board +3 attack for just one turn...
Also don't like baneling. I don't like the fact that it actually has attack of its own. Plus it's way too OP. Its way better than Abom, in that it doesn't hurt your own board. Almost completely shuts down all opposing early game by itself. I envision baneling as more like nerubian egg. Maybe a 0/1, with the consecrate effect.

Super OP, like it should be!

Fantastic, just like the Raynor one.
Keep it up!

SC fan so i like it a protoss hero would be awesome but something tells me you´re allready working on it :D

Amazing man, u really get into the swarm spirit and i love it ! The card are really strong, but i love the whole way to play it. Thanks u for that man, keep on being creative i love it, and i love to read threads like this one.

Thanks for all the feedback, here are some updates:
- Hydralisk is now 4/2. - Swarm Host has Stealth. - Ultralisk now just shrugs off only 1 damage a time. - Abathur and Dehaka effect/are effected by all minions not just Zerg. - Leviathan corrected spelling. - Heart of the Swarm now costs 6.
Hero Power it could be changed to a Shaman like one, summoning one random egg, that hatches into various things/give auras.
Baneling could be a simple 0/3.

I miss an Overmind card, otherwise it looks pretty sick! I guess you took most of the lore from HoTS anyway
Chrysalis or Cerebrate would be cool as well! Or infesting stuff!
|
The hero power could be "Summon a 0/2 larvae". A "0/1" is way worse than paladin hero power "1/1". A "0/2" still looks a little worse than an "1/1", but it should be fine with the possible buffs from other minions or spells.
EDIT: or, if you want to make things more complex, the larvae could be a 0/5 that reads: "First time this minion gains attack, take 4 damage". Any permanent or aura buff to its attack value should trigger the damage, but you could use it as a high health taunter (with taunt buff) while it has no attack.

Wow, this looks absolutely amazing! I must say.. :D Great work! Really reflects the zerg race well imo!

Awesome work dude, I´m still waiting for Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft => Hearthstone Heroes of Blizzard. I want starcraft and diablo heroes =)

Baneling/mutas/Abathur are ridiculously OP. Cult master would be insane in this deck as well. But overall, nice work!
One thing I think you're missing is a way to spend larvae. Larvae are a resource in SC2, and so they should be in this. The bigger minions (ultralisk, broodlords, swarm hosts) could destroy a random friendly larvae when you play them, and can't be played without one in play. You can reduce their mana cost by 1 for this, effectively making larvae a kind of reverse overload. Call it Hatch and make it the class' signature like Combo, OR, Overload, etc.
Balance: + Show Spoiler +Banelings: 2/2, DR: Deal 1 dmg to all enemy minions. After all, it takes two banes to kill a bane =) Broodlord feels weird. 3 broodlings per turn is a lot, and doesn't seem to fit the lore. How about "At the end of your turn, deal 2 damage to two random enemy characters, and summon two broodlings". Have the Broodlings be "1/1, destroy this minion at the end of your next turn". This also passes the test that a minion that costs 7+ has to do something the turn it comes into play. Mutas should do 1dmg to 2 other random enemy characters. Abathur's evolutions are way too good. Cenarius is held back by its mana cost, this isn't, and the hero power spawns units. It would be fine with the Hatch mechanic. Ultras feel weak. 4/7 or even 4/8 would do it. If you think that's too good, think of Fire Ele, Savannah, Ancient of Lore/War...
Finally, Queens can transfuse any bio, not only Zergs =)

Some of these cards are unplayable while some at decent. You won't be playing many zerg minions if you actually make a zerg deck just because they are too slow and are thus unplayble. I don't get what the hero ability does unless you want to become a shamen who got his board mass dispelled and can't play any cards.
Also cards like renew suck just because they are overcosts compared to current card like Shieldblock which is better and cost less.
