The open brackets are mostly strong, but not unbeatable zergs and foreigner Protoss. The strongest Terran is Gumiho, and IMO he's "only" mid-tier (for a Korean). So that's all in all not bad.

After all, she has the insider chance to talk with #BlyOnFire, who beat Rain in a qualifier just this week. Her ZvZ goes up and down, but so does Snute's, and the TL Strategy people said in their recent analysis that ZvZ is his weak point right now. Worst-case scenario, she draws Gumiho in her group (not only is TvZ very Terran-favored at the moment, Gumiho beat Solar, Life, and almost beat soO in the qualifiers for this tournament). Then, it could get tricky. But not only is that a 1 in 4, he still has to actually make it through the Open Bracket. Rain was playing from Korea on EU server vs Bly, so I wouldn't take too much away from those games. Gumiho has been looking great lately, but he's the only player from the open bracket that I think could give Scarlett trouble (maybe Super? ... but her ZvP is pretty strong lately). Scarlett's ZvZ is better than Snute's atm, so I think her chance of making it into final bracket is pretty good.

She 2-0'd Hyun in pool play during MLG Anaheim, and he's one of the most predictable players in the scene (roaches all day e'ery day). On paper, I do think she's a favorite to make it out of the group.

That feel when you find out later that she's trans. That feel when you're even more of a fanboy now.

Scarlett is doing the right thing by calling him out. We shouldn't even be having this discussion. And I don't see why Scarlett shouldn't play in HSC if Destiny is there. He's not important enough for her to sit out a tournament (except if it's his tournament).

consider that it might be rude to be indignant on another persons behalf? if scarlett's personally upset about this (destiny), then she can fight her own battles. destiny is, whether you like it or not, a damn decent human being and in no way represents misogyny or anything like it. what he said, i believe, is meant to ridicule the intractability of the whole scenario. i totally get it if you thought the tweet was a little on the nose and not helpful in the circumstances, but hey that's destiny also, kind of a gadfly. i'm not sure what compelled me to respond to this in Scarlett's fanclub, but hey it's late.
