Visa and Residency Requirement Deadlines
For players attempting to gain eligibility for WCS Season 1 through acquiring an appropriate government visa, this paperwork must be verifiably secured at least 24 hours before playing in any qualifier for any region. Players attempting to acquire visas that have not yet been approved will not be eligible to participate in qualifiers.

WCS Season 1 Challenger Seeding
Season 1 Challenger will still be played in Season 1, despite there being no returning players from Premier League. Players who fight their way through their regional qualifiers will advance to Challenger, but will be matched with their opponents using total WCS 2014 points to determine seeding. The qualifying player with the highest WCS 2014 point total will face the player with the lowest total, and the rest will be seeded accordingly. Players with the same number of WCS 2014 points will be randomized. Keep in mind that Challenger will still only pair players against each other that are from the same region to play a single best of 5 series to determine who will advance to Premier League.
