He says he's taking him to her too in the episode.

No. He only says "I'm taking you to the queen", which is why we're discussing in the first place.

J Bear only have eyes for one Queen.

I do realise that, was just saying since he was relaying information to King's Landing so Cercey coulda been the queen.

Still need someone Tory.e the lands afterwards. Robert didn't take all of the tyrells money after he won his war, stannis may demand x amount but x won't be 100% if he hypothetically wins the throne

What the fuck is even the point of the iron throne anymore? Iron Islands have seceded Riverlands are basically in anarchy and on fire Vale gives no fucks and probably doesn't even pay taxes Stormlands are in active rebellion The North is barely even under control Dorne is just checked out completely Only the Westerlands and the Reach are still in cahoots with each other and the way it's looking it won't be for long.
It should be called the "two kingdoms and maybe a third," not "the seven god damn kingdoms."

It should be called the "two kingdoms and maybe a third," not "the seven god damn kingdoms." Iron Islands have little wealth and is only seceded because everyone has bigger things to worry about. once the realm knows peace they will get wrecked. Vale isnt seceded just neutral in the war. They will stay pay their tithes. Riverlands are not great with the razing's but that would not be an issue once the war is over. Stormlands have no value The North is mostly fine. They rebelled with Rob but that rebellion died with him. Bolton is in control tho not solidly if the other clans rally against him. Fear of Tywin kept them paying their tithes and a new ruler could do the same since their armies are limited. Dorne is neutral and while again no in the war they will still be paying tithe
It looks bad on the surface but if one family gains enough superiority then the situation would quickly stabilize.
Daenary's might have a harder time but I don't think she is aware of all the details (until Varys shows up anyway)

The fight at the end was pretty silly... Wouldn't "the best infantry in the world" fighting with spears in a narrow corridor tear through a bunch of guys in robes with nothing but daggers?
|
The Khaleesi story line is so boring I really hope next season we're given a year long break.

Or at least show the dragon who disappeared went on a rampage and leveled a city and army. Give us a little preview of what may come.

Finally ep4 can be now discussed.
Do you think Greyworm and Old mister will survive?
Just wondering how would other GoT swordsman would fair in Barristan's situation. Can 2-hand Jamie kill all those without getting injured? Bronn? or Drogo or Oberyn. Afaik those guys with masks are just slaves with knives so I'm pretty disappointed that old guy got rekt (even he killed it all). Well i guess age

First of all it was an ambush, so really unexpected. Second, you actually don't want to fight with a long weapon in a confined space, bec you won't be able to use its range anyway and will be difficult to turn. same way modern daysuses short/compact firearms in CQC

I was thinking they could get shoulder to shoulder and lock shields, and the walls would prevent flanking. Then they could have basically walked through the bad guys. Or at least used SOME sort of formation in stead of splitting up and getting surrounded, they are suppose to be elite fighters after all. Oh well, not my area of expertise : )
|
Yeah but the thing is they got lured and got surrounded before they have time to sparta haha

Oh ep 4 just passed? I'm a week late on finally being able to discuss...
BIG BOY TOMMEN! Next level consummation!

a lot of the unsullied got owned pretty easy(except grey worm going boss). they did get pretty surprised in close quarters though. barristan really needs to wear his armour more lol, awesome ifght scene nonetheless.

Heavily out numbered and the element of surprise. Each unsullied basically took at least 1 person with them, except for the 2 outside when it was a 2v8 or something stupid. Also as someone said before, long weapons in a narrow corridor vs daggers with better speed. They couldn't maneuver well or get into any real formation. I hope to god they survive, I have a feeling the knight (forgot his name) will die and Grey Worm will live. His last scene with Dany makes me think that was his goodbye talk basically and it will heavily influence her now when he dies.

Stannis Baratheon scene with his daughter was good.

Did not expect barriston selmy to die. Hopefully he didnt.
|
Kind of glad Selmy died (maybe...idk I think he did). I really like him and all, but I think it would've been lame if he actually took on that many people.
