Anyway. Journey/soO/Maru/Rogue/Shine/sOs/Zest/HyuN/Trap/Bogus/Rain/aLive. 7P5T4Z SSL. Solar is actually quite weak at the moment (in terms of momentum). Sure his one win in proleague did come from sOs himself, but it was against a botched immortal all-in that lacked the flare and decisiveness of PartinG. In the Bo.5 scenario, taking in recent match form, I don't actually see Solar having the upper hand. oh, and Rip Toodming and Sora. Not Snute, because he knows roach-bane well enough to not get slaughtered 3 zip.
Don't worry, Kim Yoo Jin will truly find a way to fuck up.

The Global Seeds always get really difficult opponents and they always have some weird dream scenario matches in there too (e.g. INno vs ByuL or Flash vs Life in previous Challengers).
I thought it's kinda logical actually for global seeds to face legit opponents and not get dream scenarios.

damn going to be out of town for the first week

Damn, Dear vs soO...Hoping for Dear to take it like that GSL back in 2013 and also Heart vs Rogue could be interesting considering Heart beat Curious to get there.
|
To see the positive side of things, at least Snute is facing slumping INno and not peaking INno. Even with that, it's going to be very hard ; but I believe Snute can do it. So GOGO SNUTE~~

Does anyone know if Toodming is even in Korea or if he's just traveling from china for his match? Because at least for Snute he'll be in Korea for 3-4 days before his SSL match (due to HSC) which doesn't bode well. I miss the times where there were foreigners a plenty living in Korea to get seeds to things

Why do you hate soO? T_T

Don't worry Solar is like the worst player in korea right now

man if snute somehow beats inno (tough task because those SKT boys have crazy TvZ) i wonder what will happen to gumba. maybe inno becomes the absolute ruler of slump world.

Wow, this is pretty unfortunate for our foreign hopes. They play Innovation and Rain... :/
Good luck Snute!
Toodming i don't particularly care for.

At this point, I'd rather think that the matchs are manually seeded by the tournament organizers. Yeah pretty sure these matches don't just keep happening by accident. Nah, they put Flash against Life when Life was dominating the scene

i don't think snute will win and i don't think innovation will stomp him, i think it will be a very very boring and standard zvt where innovation slowly pushes until he wins
|
FUCK Dear vs soo
Also rip global seed.
|
RIP Sora and TooDming. Snute has a good chance to advance if INnoVation isn't in top form, which he hasn't been playing at his highest caliber as of late. TY vs. Trap will be interesting to see because they're both players on their respective teams that can come out in Proleague and have specific snipe builds prepared, as either a regular or an ace player.
MyuNgSiK, soO, Maru, Rogue, ByuL, Solar, Zest, Dark, TY, Snute, Rain, and aLive to advance.

i have faith in snute and so you should
|
Huge step forward for Snute, keep your chin up man and dont get intimidated at all by Inno, you GOT this!

well, the Season 2 RO8 dropouts and the players who qualified in 1st place play vs players who qualified in 2nd place. the PL top player, the wild card player and the global seeds play vs players who qualified in 1st place. as the number of PL invites and global seeds varied over the seasons theres no pattern like group a 1st place plays group b 2nd place from the qualifier or something like that. So regarding this sorcery is not completely off the table but its not overall random

The challenger format of 1v1, all or nothing, is stone trash.

I just hope Snute finally shows a ZvT style that isn't a self-handicap - he can't exactly afford it against Innovation.
