What is it that I'm doing good that you guys want me to keep doing? What is it that I'm doing poorly at and how can/should I fix it? This can be anything from microphone to tone to game knowledge to anything about the casts I've done that you can think off. Of course I'll be taking all responses seriously so that I can better my casting so I'd like for you guys to also take any ideas/suggestions/criticism seriously; let's keep our mutual relationship going

If I'm being picky, only things I could point out would be that you say "Ladies and gentlemen!" a whole LOT (intentional catch-phrase?), and occasionally blow it on the mic volume initially (but usually fix it later). Sound check, baby, both for you and your guests. And I guess sometimes you get distracted away from the game by a little too much repartee with your cast-mates. But in moderation, those kinds of jokes/back-and-forth can be the best part of the cast. I think you're up there with the best, almost... teams like Sayle and Elegant, Moletrap and Diggity. Maybe you just need that perfect, consistent cast-mate to build a rapport with. (Day9's also very good, and drops TONS of knowledge, but unfortunately often sounds bored or tired while doing so. Casting without energy makes ppl tune you out, even if you're awesome otherwise).

I would recommend joining a decent choir or taking singing lessons. But I guess there are people who can teach you how to just speak with better diction, there might be website where you can learn more about this stuff. Keep up the good work, I look forward to hearing you improve.

Honestly I enjoy listening to more laid back casters like Sayle or Bisudagger.

Lol. Yeah, Sayle's awesome, but 'laid back' is not a term I'd use to describe 'im. I also think the ppl complaining about Amazing's diction are more specifically talking about his sort of slightly unusual accent/speaking style (Amazing sounds a bit like Peter Griffin at times, lol ). It's not a problem for me as a native English-speaker, but I guess it could be for foreigners. Perhaps Amazing could practice articulating a bit more cleanly.

You seem to avoid a lot of mistakes other casters make, such as Klazart's infamous 'constantly shout into and overload the mic, and talk at incomprehensible warp-speed' casting style. Infamous? I love that style

Maybe it's because English is not my first language but I sometimes hear only every other word which makes your casts really hard to listen to since I only hear incomplete sentences. And I do not have this problem with any other caster. The actual words you say, your analysis and so forth, I have no complaints with, but the "not hearing the complete sentence"-thing gets old really quick. I might be picky since my occupation requires good diction which could of course make me more sensitive. I would recommend joining a decent choir or taking singing lessons. Keep up the good work, I look forward to hearing you improve. I usually don't watch the English casts, but I'm afraid I share these sentiments about enunciation. I appreciate that you (XKCD) offer up insightful details, like potential upcoming scenarios and real-time critique of who's ahead, etc, but the somewhat lisp-y slurring is a challenge for me to comprehend. It sounds almost like someone trying to speak really fast with a large ball of gum in one's mouth. As a result, lots of consonant sounds tends to blend together and I can't make out a lot of what's being said, particularly slangy idioms or colloquial expressions that are used. I imagine this is not something that can likely be changed, but just an observation and no harm intended!

It's not really criticism, but one thing I'd recommend is streaming yourself playing the game. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but I find it so much more pleasant to listen to casts from people who I've seen play themselves. I remember that's how I really started to enjoy listening to Sayle's casts way back when. Can't really explain why I feel it's important beyond that it builds some degree of trust when I listen to their casts because I've seen them think through strategic situations in their own games, and that it's nice to see the caster also plays actively.

That's really interesting. Maybe both xkcd and I can do some show matches in the future.
