This middle is definitely one of the most unreadable things ever in an overview. Good thing you provided an anylzer shot~
Anyway the map is pretty... boring. Seen this a million times before :x

Those symetrical 3rd/4th are just SO trendy.

It looks fine. Aesthetically, its a well executed version of an over-used theme. It doesn't do anything particularly new, and two-base seems incredibly easy to hold. No opportunity for reaper harass, etc etc. Its fine, not exciting, but fine.
To Ragoo's point, it's pretty difficult for someone who hasn't been working on the map to tell whats going on by looking at it. The art is very pretty, and realistically the middle might look like that, but it might be better to have more of a color distinction on where its pathable/unpathable.

Looks reasonable to me, although I wish the center was a little more open than it is now.

The base layout is basically Coda.
Then you have the weird gold bases from Terraform.
Textures are amazing though.

but honestly, did you really think none would notice its basically coda+terrafor? step it up boy

I was thinking more Bel'shir beach winter.
Agreed the middle should be more readable

This isn't anything like Terraform. It is a little like Coda except more interesting imo, great pathing around the 4th including an optional gold min-only expansion. And I like the center and chokes, lots of focus on positioning. The defender can control chokes but in order to avoid open spaces, they have to run through their bases, which is a longer path than the opponent- allowing the aggressor to easily put pressure in multiple areas when players are on 4+ bases. Kinda plain compared to my favorite map designs but it has its redeeming features.

The golds are not mineral only, they have gasses, but these can not be seen easily because of the textures and color scheme. Look at the analyser picture.

Yes but if a player wants to have a safer expansion they can mine from the min-only side. Kind of a cool idea I think.

Very aesthetically pleasing/natural looking.
With the hard emphasis players place on map balance, of course many of the best maps are referred to as "boring". They look like battlefields designed specifically for SC2 games, as opposed to foreign alien lands where battles randomly erupt.
That's why, to me, maps like these stand out. Even though it's symmetrical, it looks natural. Like someone took a knife, carved out an indiscriminate chunk of land, and said "I wanna see a SC2 match on this here plot o land."
Keep 'em coming.

I lose about 20-50 frames when I look at the spot with the rocks and waterfalls, but other wise a very beautiful map. It's much bigger in-game than it appears, and the bases are very wide open. Zerg should do well on this map.

I love the texture work, less the texture base color choice itself ty for eye candy!
