I updated it on the second using GMT. I'm not a blizzard employee so this is unofficial.

my bad.... sorry man

if you look at his match history you can see the game finished before midnight even if the pts didn't update. but he didn't make it anyway so it doesn't really matter unless 1 person drops out

If that is true, maybe scarlett qualifies then instead of qxc. not sure who's clock they are using. According my gmt time Scarlett beat eric within 5 minutes after time. QXC beat polt his last game of the night before time for a lot of points, so it would be sad for qxc. I think scarlett is the person who can contest it if anyone. I do see the game you are referencing and it finished about the time the it ended so i'm not sure if it counts or not. (within 30 seconds of the final time)

Hydra 130 wins - 15 loses GG :D

Scarlett should have used Violet's superior approach.

I stayed up til the end watching all streams and match histories to the end. Here were some storylines:
- qxc actually had his spot secured with 1100+ with an hour or two to go, but played and suffered a big loss to fall out of top 16 around 11:40pm PST. He defeated Polt in a game that finished around 11:56pm for a +23 jump back into the top 16. Polt was streaming too, it looked like qxc was fucked. Sick comeback and I'm sure that was the highest pressure ladder game he's ever played.
- I'm a little sketched out by KoMA's three straight wins against Virium to end the night. He is known to be a good friend of KoMA and Drunkenboi (who also took one game off him) and his builds seemed questionable to say the least.
- JonSnow caught absolute FIRE on the last evening, going something like 20-2 over a stretch on the last day to jump from in the 20s to rank 6 before ending at 7.
- MaSa also hit a huge streak after being around rank 25 with 3 hours to go, but it wasn't unexpected that he would win that much if he actually played. His streak was notably capped off by taking three straight from Scarlett.
- Scarlett was in a similar position to MaSa, being below rank 20 with 2-3 hours to play and trying to make up ground. But she unfortunately lost five games - three to MaSa and two to Bails, which didn't take too many points from her but slowed her climb enough that she didn't make top 16 til 12:05am.
- Bails clutched it up with two wins over Scarlett and possibly some other big wins - not looking at match history atm though
- State too was in/out a couple times in the last six hours.
- NoRegreT may have been safe at his 1107 that he had a few hours before the end, but he got scared at the end and played three games - a win vs a scrub for +4, a loss vs MaSa, and a baneling bust vs Polt for a nice +23-24 to finish things off.
- HuK was at 1116 with about 30 minutes to play and chose to queue for a game, which gave him +9 - if he had lost, he would have gotten -15 and just BARELY made it.
- Drunkenboi finished a game right around 11:59pm that put him at 1101 pts, but didn't make the screenshot it seems. Not sure on the exact time for that.
That's all from memory.

Wow, that's some good fun. Next time someone (you?) should just make a meta-stream, telling people what to watch right now and commentating the situation in real time!

this was great, maybe do something like this monthly?

In any case, Hydra and Polt being first is reality taking another gentle laugh at WCS Welfare

Given that I'm about 99% sure (being generous) that Virium hacked vs me in a WCS qualifier before (0 issue with showing replays if requested/desired), I'm more surprised at how these top players can be friends with him. Nice write up.
