Next day: Playoffs [unparsable timestamp format] [unparsable timestamp format]
In March, the WCS Regional Challengers are back for Spring in the Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau region. The format is the same as the previous season: an 8-player group stage (round robin), then double-elimination playoffs with the top 2 players of the group stage in the winners bracket, and the 3rd-6th place in the losers bracket.
All the money is now for the top 8 players (300,000 TWD = almost 9,300 USD). The winner gets 100,000 TWD and a spot in the 2016 WCS Spring Championship (DreamHack Tours).
Group Stage will start at the end of the month, on March 31, until April 14. Playoffs will be played on April 23.
JoJo and Fist2, the bottom 2 players, are in an up-and-down dual-tournament bracket against two three players from the Open Qualifier. The top two players of the up-and-down participate in the group stage.
1 Expect cancelled his participation due to personal reasons. Fist takes his place, so one more seed was available from the qualifier to the Up-and-Down matches.

The racial distribution is the same as last season, with 5 Zerg players, 2 Protoss players and a lone Terran player. KevinLiu, member of the Taiwanese clan Rush, is the newcomer.
The round robin stage starts in two days.

Typical Has reinforcing his attack from his own base :D Sen looked really terrible. If you can´t win against Has in a macro game...
|
Has made his army dance just before Sen left the final game. That's like... the most personality he ever shows outside of his builds.

...stupid (and probably too convoluted) question incoming: why were the WCS Standing Invites for WCS Spring "locked on" the standings of the 11th of April when the NA Regionals were already done (so the points distributed and valid) while the TW/HK/Macau ones still going? In the present case there were no ripercussions since Has qualified by winning the regional tournament and even a 2nd place would not have been enough for him to pass HuK (for 25 points)... ...let's go hypotetical and say a 2nd place (70 points) for him would have been enough to pass HuK whose 30 regionals points were already counted for... why, in this hypotetical scenario, should the NA challenger points be valid and counted while the TW/HK/Macau not?

They really should try to prevent that from happening next time.

Obviously, thanks for the clarification. But anyway Sen played really bad against him, that is why I said I didn't see really much in those games.
