I have great respect for Moosy and Super for crafting this image when in the end they proved to be two of the most pivotal town players. No shame on you Skynx, D1/2 were mad confusing, it felt like the wild wild West. But to have these two players come out in force in D3 and be "non-factors" in D2 is just so pro. no disrespect here

If you had this idea in Night 1 then yes this would be incredible TBH. As of now, I don't know whether to write it up as luck, logic, or genius for Moosy. WP all around.

I know! That's the beauty of it. Being non-factors to scum while having a PR and eventually becoming pivotal in math read is amazing. Props again to Moosy and Super.

Some stuff from my pm's since these would be in qt anyway. If anyone interested
+ Show Spoiler +Original Message From Rels: Gl hf What tt is doing is townie and if you have the time to commit to it you should do it too: go through every filter of the people still living and point out things you find of note,t townie or scummy. Then decide your lynch target based of it Show nested quote +Original Message From Skynx: I'm gona go for the safe option. Fingers crossed Original Message From Rels: As you prefer! The Superbia's point is good. You shouldn't attack Superbia with that point though if you don't intend to push him. You can ask him about his thought process though, that is townie. You can always keep it in your pocket and pull it out if you decide to push him. Original Message From Skynx: Yeah, i know its super ballsy. I have to think about it. My pow now is that if I kill Jealous, Scott will 100% vote for me and me pushing TT wont do anything cuz even if I get superbia on my side its still 2-2. If I kill TT his claims on Super will get some credit but i don't know if that will make Jeal/Scott rethink. They have to believe I'm not ballsy enough to get rid of my only credible opponent. Another thought, should i mention that super's shennanies dont mean anything as we'd need 1 more to switch from emp? He said he'd switch back to emp if me n emp jumped on Scott which is stupid because we still can't kill him. Original Message From Rels: Now your idea has some merits, but you have to be pretty damn sure it will work to kill TT over a confirmed town. Killing a confirmed town means more chance to win mathematically, cause people has more chance to be wrong, as shown by TT pushing Superbia right now. Killing TT for the WIFOM is a big risk. Original Message From Skynx: Alright, I think there is only 2 plays left: Conventional play: Where i kill Jealous in the night and try to fight a cause for TT. Curveball play: Where i push for TT as last scum during the night cuz EC/Scott is not possible then kill TT. I'm thinking more and more towards second one cuz normal play would not cut it from now on imo. What happens if i get a mislynch and its 1 on 1 on final day? Original Message From Rels: So it has come to the final showdown! Be strong and ask any question you have ^^ Any idea about who to kill ? Jaleous is the obvious one but what are your thoughts ?
+ Show Spoiler +Original Message From emperorchampion: Good game man, GL for the rest! Show nested quote +Original Message From Skynx: Hehe this is on the edge i must admit, its a very fine line Original Message From emperorchampion: Be careful not to get baited into revealing as mafia! Original Message From Skynx: Cheers for the update! I feel like just playing with the feels from now on. Maybe i can dig a bit more trying to convince Jealous but its beyond that i think. You gona be around for shennanies? Original Message From emperorchampion: Grats on the last few posts! I'm trying to cook up something, hopefully the lynch will go off on me leaving you more free to choose the kill (also i think you have more persuasive power / better posting). Here is some advice from Rels regarding the last few days (a little late now): man I realized I forgot to write the post I said I would do ... Basically, don't do too much right now. You would waste some effort because the towncred acquired by effort is quickly lost if you don't do much after that. Just push & vote Skynx while making a few posts. The most important thing is to talk with other people. I saw you did that a little already, it's good. Just talk to scott / Jaelous / TT when they do a post to talk about it like you did these last few pages. As soon as the next night starts (or next day if you don't feel you can be super active for 3 deays in a row) you should try to become super active to "find" the last scum and gain a lot of towncred in the process. A newbie being active is always a towntell because playing scum is hard. If you can reread the game during D5 and show it by quoting posts and bullshitting how they make scott or TT scum it would be great but I dunno if you have that kind of time to "waste" on doing that Original Message From Skynx: Nice. Well, Moosy was incredibly lucky he didn't check you, we're unlucky we didn't kill him last night too. :p Cu tomorrow! Original Message From emperorchampion: Yeah, I have a feeling that they are fake reading me though to draw out confidence. But we shall see, I haven't been too disappointed by the town so far I submitted to rb/kill moosy tonight. Original Message From Skynx: 3/5 town reads you. You will get one of Scott/TT D5 and we win, I'm dead tomorrow Original Message From emperorchampion: Yeah I think we have to leave Jealous unfortunately, unless I get lynched next day, in which case you could kill him maybe. Original Message From Skynx: Yeh I get what you mean. If we plan on leaving Jealous alive, which we should, we won't b needing my RB anymore so yeah I don't mind killing Moosy.

Great job to everyone this game. We were cheering for town from the obs qt and scum forced an early LyLo. GG everyone, hope you stick around to play some more because I thought you were all quite promising.

Good game everyone. I had fun. Not going to play this kind of setup gamble again though, I'm here for the guessing, not for the math. I have to admit that I'm still salty, however I really want to put emphasis on Superbia's (and Jealous'!) effort that was put in. Shame we didn't get the clean victory but were reverse swept instead, but yeah that's life in ancient Rome.

Cheers It's really unfortunate how that spun out of control for scum, but at the end of the day you have to know what rules you are playing with and Superbia seems to be the only one that managed that so we were blessed to have him alive and on town's side when push came to shove. D3 was incredibly pivotal as a result of that, and you should have been more mindful of the rules, but then again I think none of us read them as closely or at least understood them to the level that Superbia did so I can't throw stones in a glass house. This was one of those "lesson" games where I learned a damn lot, the analysis of the rules being one of those lessons.

I did want to showcase a crazy style that can get serious later on which is why I did go with my regular D1 craziness though.

If you want to claim next time, make sure to discuss it with your coach just to make sure it's plausible. Also, you don't necessarily need to worry about roles and setups, etc. I still have no idea how role setups work and just go with things as they pop up. Not necessarily saying you should ignore role setup, but you don't need to absolutely know the finer details so don't stress about it. You made one mistake here and it won't happen again.
Overall was a pretty fun game. Tictock of course gave some heart attacks in obs qt because of his paranoia at one point but we were pretty much going to pull through. I agree with the sentiment that scum overall played better than town in the early game but after the red check on beentheredonethat I think town picked things up, especially Jealous. @scott, I'm also happy you didn't roll over and die like you sometimes do but instead made yourself look town.
props to disfo and superbia for figuring out the game super early although sup did it with feels. wp doods.

Also I am so glad mafia team didn't mention i voted myself d1 and trolled hard in thread or focused on me too much in discussion with coaches. Both Damdred and especially Rels would have picked up the scent of blue from miles away.

Thanks NM, sorry, was tied up with RL.
Will post some thoughts about the game either tonight or tomorrow.

GG team. Glad I could play in this game even though I had pretty much no effect on it.

I actually hope you decide to play again, you were really active and seemed to be pretty interested in getting advice on how to improve in Obs.
Though there are plenty of players around here who will want to lynch you with the playstyle you have. Eventually people will learn to read you a little better and if you keep at it (especially taking advantage of coaching, obs, and shadowing if you would like) you'll find your own play improving.

I mean really,
Considering the fact that they got to lylo, lynched you, and was decently town read. And that for all the scum team, this was their first game is very impressive. None of them had any experience as town, and didn't know how to act in that regard,

Oh, I'll play here again, no doubts there. Still don't have a feel for how your guys do things here well enough yet. Don't expect the same kind of spastic play though, this game I was doing something different. Games differ for me both depending on where I go and how I play. Sometimes I'm even considered a town leader. It just depends on what my mood is towards that particular game. My perspective is often random on how I approach a game, sometimes I don't post much (rarely, but the trend is shifting to go that way more recently) and sometimes I am like how I was this game, just depends how the winds are blowing for me.
How about I link a game so people can see a little more of my play? A Midnight Sun. this was a good game for me. My biggest mistake was changing who I read as Scum at the end. Scum had nothing but terrible things to say about me in their Chat.

You will not play a lot of games then since the "norm" here basically is semi-open setups in mini games. The way Shapelog rng'd the setup makes no difference to a normal semi-open game.

tbh i have no idea why QT was lynched. Both him an Jealous seemed pretty obviously town on D1. Like.. that was one of the most obvious t/t fights i have seen in a game.

I have an idea why (tho I could be wrong). There was a period that I was away from the thread. I was talked about a lot during this time and people were staking evidence against me. I failed in addressing these concerns and it just sorta got stuck in peoples minds that I was Scum. that's my theory anyway.
