I don't think there's much deciding involved, they're just gonna do their thing - roll over anyone worse than them with no mercy.

There's a decent chance a foreigner advances from Group D but I still expect them to get shit on by at least Inno.

If I had to rate his match-ups, I'd have to say his TvT is top notch, top 3-4 in the world (on a level with INnoVation, aLive, etc.) and his TvP is decent (not world class like Inno or TY but on a similar level to say GuMiho or Bunny, so like top 8 or top 10). But his TvZ falls off so hard it's not even funny.

Basically its not enough to win. They have to win in a fashion that makes it look like there was never even a chance for their opponents to even think about the possibility of a foreigner win. Like Dark at Blizzcon.

It wasn't even that bad. Snute beat Ryung, Heromarine beat Solar (who also beat Ryung), Heromarine especially was amazing. Harstem beat Stats and made it close against TY and jjakji. So Korea has to step it up.

Which is why I said it will be fun to see if Dark/Inno decide to take up that challenge or if they want to save their energy against weaker opponents (long day of matches like TY said so no need to waste energy).

1)Zest 2)Nerchio 3)True 4)Patience 5)Serral 6)Pilipili Zest is best. Strong protoss that can out PvP and PvZ everybody in this group. Nerchio stands a good chance against Zest but in the end, Zest can get abusive which will get into Nerchio's head. Nerchio can out ZvZ both True & Serral and shouldn't have problem with Pilipili. Patience could out edge True but I think with the current map pool (and the correct map bans!) True should be able to beat Patience. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see Patience instead of True for 3rd. ___ Group D: 1)Innovation 2)Dark 3)Mana 4)Gumiho 5)Showtime 6)Uthermal I want to place somebody else at 1st, I really do...but I can't. Innovation is too good to bet against. I'm taking a calculated risk with Mana taking 3rd in this group. It will come down to him and Gumiho but I believe Mana can out edge Gumiho by the slightest of margins. Showtime, as much as he rocks, will unfortunately bomb out of this group. But at least he'll beat uThermal! <3

So this is my view from the window, pretty cool, right? But why am I looking from a window and posting on TL while in the Alps instead of snowboarding? Because I have a fucking throat infection and take antibiotics. And I have been told that I am forbidden from ignoring infections from now on and have to sit them out. So I guess I am gonna watch IEM and post some genuine negativity, because my stupid life is worthless. Don't say I didn't warn you.
