Liquipedia isn't really insightful on this. various destructible buildings in BW have different (fixed) amounts of HP. these temples have 5000, other common ones are the protoss stone temples (1500), psi disruptors (2000), and power generators (800). often melee maps have multiple destructibles stacked on top of each other so with standard attacks you'd have to kill several buildings, but splash attacks hit all of them at once so you only have to deal a single building's worth of damage. | ||

Make main minerals vertical formations with gas on top. Players are used to this and the gas placement will be balanced in terms of mining rates | ||
