I agree. We should outlaw gambling. Or, better yet, merely crusade against them in the public square.

The talent is much more abundant than it is in the NBA. We've been going back and forth between opportunity vs outcome, but the outcome in baseball is just so random that I can't take it seriously.

The NFL's cap system also plays a part in its parity. Teams can go all in on specific seasons by shifting player compensation to other years. It allows the shitty teams to be competitive in certain years by sacrificing another year.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19039017/carolina-panthers-qb-cam-newton-successful-surgery-torn-rotator-cuff i won't believe Newton's throwing arm is back to full strength until it happens. Newton can't run as much because of his concussion problems.. and now his throwing will be worse. oh well. Their minor league system was a starting pitcher factory. it was great watching guys making MLB minimum mow down New York's famous , high-priced hitters. Every home grown Devil Rays pitcher threw the same 4 pitches. regarding baseball the closer it is to the pre-1968 era format the more congruent it is to the nature of the game.

Personality wise I've always liked him, very knowledgeable as well he should do a great job as a broadcaster.

Personality wise I've always liked him, very knowledgeable as well he should do a great job as a broadcaster. Romo was as clutch as Manning. He just had nothing else around him. It's not his fault that their playmaking became hilariously predictable as the season went on and the game was on the line, despite that they usually had good running backs. Their big problem, though, was the lack of an NFL secondary. On April 04 2017 23:28 JimmiC wrote: Yeah its all about the $$ when u can dak at his salary you can just surround him with so much more talent than Romo. What sucks for Romo is by the time he had a complete team around him his body betrayed him. He was the sole reasons he was in those clutch games because for ever he had a god awful o-line and a leaky as hell defense. People often thought the cowboys were better then they were cause they had a couple of big stars, but over all until 3 years ago this was a bad football team. And even so the defense is pretty shaky. Hopefully they can use the romo money to shore up that D! Well, they lost Church. :/ Good riddance to Claiborne, though.

Sherman feels like to much a part of the team though, it would have to be a ridiculous deal (or him leaving to get an absurd check).
