Even if he wins against Stats next week, he will still be at the bottom of the ranking. I expect only win for him vs Stats as I doubt he will win vs aLive who is on fire this week. Every progamer is in a slump at some point. herO, Maru, aLive, GuMiho, ByuL and even Innovation were all in a slump last year. They are doing much better this year. Zest just needs to practice harder and has a bit of faith on himself.

Maybe if they don't nerf Phoenix adept before then he might have a decent shot. I don't share your optimism here. Both aLive and GuMiho are both very strong at the moment. They only lost to herO recently which were all close games. Both are aggressive players which is the style that Zest is horrible at. Zest likes his Robo play which is not very good vs aggressive Terran. They would cut Zest into pieces with multiple drops. His PvP is not even that good lately. Lost to Patience recently. His chance to get out of this group is kind of slim.

Zest would need a dramatic peak in form to win either of them. He could probably adept allin his way through like sOs does. He doesn't seem to like it though.

He has beaten Classic and Stats recently. As for Zest's robo play I'm not worried about Zest dying to multi prong harass. He will be fine I think if he has to defend stuff like that. I'm more worried about him dying to tank pushes if he goes robo. That's the scariest thing when going robo. Either way I imagine if they don't nerf phoenix adept by then that is probably the style he will play more. Also I don't think he will get out first but I think he has a decent shot at second.
