Dear and jjakji decided to proxy in all three games of their series. After two proxy reapers sent the series to a final game, Dear’s proxy oracle into void ray all-in gave him the 2-1 victory.
Strong bio / tank play from Bunny took out a five base Losira on Abyssal Reef, but a slow bane bust on Newkirk took us to a deciding map. Once more, it was the DuSt Gaming player who came out on top, showcasing more of the strong macro TvZ that he'd displayed earlier in the year to take his first victory in the SSL.
ByuN fell behind early on in the first two games against GuMiho, but some indecisive play from GuMiho allowed the Team Expert player to sneak a win on Overgrowth. In Game 3, GuMiho once again appeared to have control—up a base on Whirlwind with a forward siege established, but ByuN emerged on the better end of a pseudo-basetrade in which both players were mining off one base at the 20 min mark, moving him to 2-1 in the league.
