I have disabled all firewalls and no other programs have an issue using the internet. Google brings up a few posts detailing the same issue with no resolution. I had the same issue. I fixed this by running it the first time as administrator which allowed it to populate the server list. After that, it worked fine without administrator mode. I just removed and reinstalled the game and run as administrator. It does the exact same thing. I have tried canceling and accepting the whitelist popup on different installations as well

I really wish they'd give a timeline of things they are aware of and working to fix. It would be nice for giving us a clue what to expect and allaying concerns.

tried the same thing, doesn't seem to work. Guess we might be stuck until they're finished polishing it and release rebinds officially.

Classic Blizzard.

Is this very slow to update for anyone else? been going for 15 minutes already.
|
yea the update takes a while from like 80 to 100%, been udpating for 30min

Could someone explain the vertical sync and fps cap video settings in game? I googled them, but want to know more in a starcraft based example. If anyone's technical please do share

Control group binding/hotkey inputs being dropped really needs to be fixed, it's happening atleast 4-5 times a game, really ruining the patch for me.

I just played around abit in a custom game on 1.18 as Terran using various well known cheat-codes ('operation cwal', 'show me the money', and perhaps some others) and had one of my Science Vessels self-destruct as I cancelled it in production just as/milliseconds before it appeared from the Starport-- a phenomenon I managed to deliberately replicate once more a few seconds later.
Has this always been possible? And, if so, does it apply to all races and their units?

Has all of Fish Server switched over to 1.18?

Yes I can't believe this hasnt happened yet... this just splits the userbase for no reason at all.

remapping hotkeys using winmpq/tblpad editing the patch_rt.mpq doesn't work in 1.18. I wouldn't bother trying.

After working all day I never expected to come home to this, so fucking hyped

If you watch Mong's stream, he is demonstrating right now how bad the control group input latency is compared to 1.16.
|
Was the Valkyrie sprite bug every actually fixed? I remember reading that firebathero tested on stream Day 1 of the PTR patch, and it was still there.
|
Does this 1.18 have higher requirements or something? It kinda looks like. When i try to stream my game gets laggy

yea this is a known issue, hotkey input responsiveness isnt the same as it was in 1.16. most likely something they'll look to fix in future patches.

Does that mean its slower to register a new hotkey? Ctrl + 1 for example takes an extra few milliseconds ??
I didn't notice that during my PTR games for some reason.

You have to be playing at above 300 APM for it to be noticeable. It is most noticeable when trying to build new units from your several production buildings.
