Hotfix just came out.
May 24 Hotfix: 1.18.7.1736 Mouse sensitivity no longer defaults to lowest setting on fresh install
TaSahdan, for your second problem, maybe try this:
1) Uninstall the game 2) Delete the \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\Classic Launcher\s1t registry key 3) Reinstall. The installer should prompt for your desired language. Exerpt from here: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/starcraft/topic/20753887519

So weird newest patch made my mouse cursor laggy for some reason (the hotfix). Been fine until that hotfix.
Huh weird went away for now. Works for me, I didn't even do anything differently but start another game and just fixed itself.

input feels good, game feels smooth, mouse sensitivity is excellent.
gotta test my ping on fish tho
Assuming you ladder on fish, do you feel any stuttering lag vs koreans? It's not a lag where you get drop screens. Its a lag where it feels fine but suddenly you get stutter. Do you feel this?

Tried this too but then mouse is super slow. It works perfectly fine with mca64...

As someone who plays on Fish I don't get any stutter at all. But I live in a good location and have never had the extreme lag problems when playing on the Korean server in SC2 either.

Do you use Wifi?
When I used to use Wifi I used to have stutter problems. Once I plugged in I no longer had issues. I could have gotten a new router, but prefer being plugged in anyway.

in 1.18.7 windowed fullscreen mouse finally has the same speed as fullscreen for me (mouse scaling on or whatever it's called)
Annoyingly, with windowed fullscreen, when starting the game my screen resolution is still set to 640*480. Can change it back (with BW running) and it stays correctly windowed fullscreen and everything works, but then when I exit it puts my screen resolution back to 640*480, then changes it to regular size. It should just be leaving it alone.. pretty sure it used to when windowed fullscreen was selected
*EDIT* fixed in 1.18.8 PTR
|
1.18.8 PTR also added directx9 support for the people that need it.

STARCRAFT 1.18.8 PTR https://us.battle.net/forums/en/starcraft/topic/20755055513
Specific Changes & Improvements Added DX9 support
Bug Fixes Bonjour Service compatibility
Now it should run on more hardware that couldn't support the version of OpenGL they were using (Though no online support for XP or Vista due to the fact they went with newer TLS rather than OpenSSL).

German death sounds are fixed
|
Is there a command to bring up the local time in game now? /time now brings up the in-game timer.
|
Will they ever fix it so 1.18 saves your game type like it did in 1.16? I hate how it resets to "Show All" every time you relaunch the game.

i saw that on PTR patch it was fixed but what is that? what about the official patch? 1.18.7?
