Our developers have recognized the platform wide buffering issues, especially for those abroad, and have been planning changes accordingly. An upcoming change to our CDN, should hopefully resolve the majority of issues.

Hey,
I used to have this issue, but I haven't had a problem since I changed how I watched. Here's what I'd suggest:
1. When viewing a stream from TL, click the "View on Afreeca" link below the embedded player. 2. When the player loads on the Afreeca site, change the stream quality from source to High. If that still buffers, change it to medium (I've never had to use medium myself).
I've never had issues watching Afreeca since. My only advice is be ready to change the stream quality right away, because for some reason, if the stream starts buffering, you lose all ability to change anything (volume, stream quality, etc.) and have to wait for a time between buffers to change the stream away from source quality.
Good luck!

thanks dromar but i tired watch it on afreeca even on LOW ^^ it looks like shit and STILL buffers xD as far as i hear the main problemzone seems to be europe more then usa (well ur closer to korea ^^) so u might be lucky

Yeah I can second that Europe has it worst, given the official response here and all the digging I did + my excellent knowledge of how the interwebs work it's not a problem on the client side, the servers just can't transfer the data to europe adequately - glad to hear afreeca is investing in a CDN that will fix that, hopefully. Especially with rising interest in SC:R/BW it would be a shame to miss out on afreeca, since most koreans prefer streaming there
TLDR: Not a client issue, internet things, afreeca knows/works on it

I'm having the same problem. Someone on twitch chat said there was a plugin or something that fixed it - but I didn't write it down. Anyone know?

seems it rly changed, no buffering because now afreeca no even start anymore, i see logo and browser freeze (all browsers, on all pc's even from work) its just afreeca logo and showin like i have no stream choosen at all not even buffering or trying to connect at all
so instead of buffering now its not watchable at all anymore ... thats aint an improvement
because of freeze i cant change it to html5 anyways, also while buffering u cant change quality of html/flash etc, that buffering prevents u from changing it is ... its so bad design ... and without chaning it to html5 flash enver wroked at all here
