His mechanics are solid, but I feel he's so vulnerable in the mid-game because of his over aggression coupled with twitch decision making against mech terrans which have an inherent advantage defending their positions.... I'm gonna root for Jaedong whenever Terran goes MnM (except flash's 5 rax +1), but jaedong against Mech... not his alley... Good luck to Jaedong though.... hope he regains his swagger coupled with his veteran's wisdom for the game

Only zergs that I feel are comfortable going against Mech terran are Soulkey, Effort, and Larva... Jaedong's living in the past era, hope he comes in with some new tricks. Jaedong has actually quite a few good ideas, chief among them his lurker/defiler drops while getting his 4th base up, but his execution has been really lacking throughout the entire matchup, which is why he hasn't looked very good at it.

O.O It's been a long time since ASL2 and Stork beat JD in quite a couple of showmatches and spons. SK is harder, I agree, but since it's only 2 MUs and I don't think he really needs to train that much for PvP he might be able to come up with something. It's also possible that if he manages to win his 1st match he'll beat Rain in the winners and go out 1st. This is just what I'm hoping for and trying to rationalise it. It's going to be hard and he might crush out 0-2 just as well.

Round 16 is going to be amazing. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. I want to see how Flash, Shuttle, Effort and Bisu go into the next stage. From the ladder, practice and tournaments games I've seen from these guys. I'm really pumped to see how they go in the next part of the ASL. Such a fun ASL at the moment. I Hope we get more close games then the Ro 24 though.

After all he's one of the players who could really use at least a good portion of that prize cash. To buy new keyboards.

Being able to pick first from the pool of 16 and switching any other two players at the end is pretty huge. He switched out Rain for Mong, which made his group the easiest. Group B is certainly going to be a bloodbath. I feel bad for Larva; that challenge to Shine blew up in his face when Effort and Hero came in the picture, and FlaSh didn't help him out in the end. Most if not all of his training was for ZvT and ZvP, so I'm curious how he'll handle this situation. Group C is the group of death in my opinion. All the players went really deep in previous ASLs, so I expect that group to be the most competitive. Group D on paper would seem to be the group of death, but I don't think it is because Stork and JD aren't as dominant as they once were. I think Rain was delighted to transfer over to this group for this reason and the fact that he'd only have to prepare for PvP and PvZ. I'd love for them to prove me wrong, though. I really wish Stargirl would've chosen the groups by lottery. Shalashaska_123 I don't. Larva challenged Shine to pick him, and on his own turn he picked Effort. He created 75% of the ZvZvZvZ group himself, and his request to get switched at the end was just made to increase his camera time. If he'd wanted to go against Flash, he could have said something at the start.

Easy for Flash. No clue who will be second to advance. Group B: I think all the Zergs in group B is going to be very entertaining. There is a nice grudge match between Shine (a creative mastermind) and Larva (Flash thinks is a new up and comer). Not to mention Effort and Hero both have a good chance of winning. Anything can happen in ZvZ Group C: I wish I knew more about these players. I don't follow the scene enough to know about them. Group D: I'm hoping for Stork and Jaedong. But my brain tells me Rain is gonna advance. But alot of viewers are underestimating Stork. He trounced Last and shocked everyone. I think Stork has a chance of shocking us and advancing again.

Group C has Bisu, Mind and Shuttle. Surprised you don't know about them tbh ^^ Stork is unlikely to beat Soulkey and Jaedong who both have solid ZvP so Rain should have issues as well. Wouldn't be surprising to see SK and Jaedong face off in the winners' match either. However, there is always a chance for an upset with a BO1 so who know.
